it was our mistake to hope and believe those sacks in the first half meant something xD or that the first half matters at all for the falcons. I’m going to be reserved and skeptical about every game now. Not gana let myself get caught up in the hope that we might do something this year cuz clearly our defense still cant cover or tackle in the secondary.

Yea i thought the same until last seasons chiefs vs bills and chiefs vs bengals game. Then found out NFL is under Entertainment, not under Sports. That tells you everything its scripted just like WWE Entertainment.

@Jodie Burke๐งโโ๏ธ Don’t bet your house on it. LoL Tampa got rid of him for a reason. Don’t get me wrong, he has a shotgun arm but to have a good Christmas, all the Christmas lights have to be working at the same time, including the offensive line, and good play calling. I just don’t see us playing pass Christmas but my hopes are as high as a kid losing their Mardi Gras balloon in the air on rainy day.

@speedingAtI94 God I hope you are at least 50% right, but if the offensive line is their weakness, than the coach has to do a better job on calling plays around the offensive line weakness, like, shorter routes for the receivers.

That trio of MT, Landry and Olave is looking really nice. It was great to see Winston turn it on in the 4th quarter as well. Lattimore has gotta check his attitude because him responding couldโve cost us the game.
The officials should’ve called off-setting fouls on Lattimore and the Falcons no 89 – but yes, retaliating is rarely a good idea.
Love that they didn’t give up. A lot of things to clean up, especially on the O-Line, but it was great seeing WRs that can actually get open routinely again

#1 thing to clean up is to get a quarterback. Why Winston is still in the NFL is beyond my ability to understand. A large sack full of rocks would be better. At least it wouldn’t spike the ball for no reason.

This seasonโs gonna be a super competitive season. I hope all the games will be as enjoyable as this. It was really a joyful comeback. Iโm happy that football is back.

Patterson went completely insane. Love the falcons fight they just need the defense to clamp down to close out the game. They were playing hard until the end. Saints going to be scary. Winston just let’s it fly and all those weapons around him it’s really scary. They going to catch some teams this season. This is what the NFL is all about crazy game.
I can’t remember a better opening weekend than this been watching since the 80’s.

Yโall didnโt want to show that the intentional grounding call at the end of the game was a botched call and that the clock was running because Landry was tackled in bounds? Interesting. Once again, almost cost the Saints the game because of a terrible call.

@vraimentz they ruled him out of bounds but if you watch the clip, he was clearly touched when he fell. They just didnโt tell the head coach or Jameis, so he spiked the ball going off of what he saw. The highlights make it seem like Jameis made a mistake but he didnโt.
@UrethraExtreme I was saying the same thing dey never showed on replay if he was touched or not and on TV i couldve sworn the clock was still running…
That boy Mariota played a damn good game. Good to see him healthy and active with a new team.
