@Aaron Beaulieu The season is long and a lot can happen. I don’t think anyone would argue that Russell is not capable of winning the MVP, just think it’s far to early to have honest/realistic conversations about MVP.
“Getting votes” in an MVP race means nothing, especially when Russ should already have won at least a couple. There’s only one winner, the MVP, and Russ has been the definition of MVP since 2014.

I don’t even want Russ to be the better running QB. His arm will be the deciding factor in his winning the MVP.
He can out-rush any QB not named Jackson or Watson (RG3, J. Allen, T. Taylor, K. Murray, and Mariota are close), but he doesn’t have to, because he’s the best all-around passer only the game, too.
D3Shields : If you think Cam is a more savvy rusher than Russ, you haven’t watched Russ. There’s a reason he has never missed a game in his entire career, while being the top rushing QB in the game over the past 8 seasons!
Russ slides and protects himself better than anyone. Cam is fast and strong, and he takes big, beautiful strides in the open field, but he is also reckless when he runs.
No QB is better at protecting himself than Russ! And btw, nice try on claiming to be a Seahawks fan.
With your way-off claim that “Cam slides more,” you showed how much you DON’T know about Russ — or the Seahawks, for that matter.
