@Zooty McZoot I would never ever consider the dolphins very good. I’m not sure how anything in that game would give you that impression. You needed to give Tua thermo nuclear bombs at wide receiver to have him put up 250 yards against a team with barely any good DBs? And a defense that allowed 200 yards against what’s going to be one of the worst offenses in the AFC. Calling them “very” good is comical at this point. Are they bad? No but calling them very good is not true. It’s not even clear if they will make the playoffs.
I love when historically prestigious teams are good. Dolphins are gonna be fun to watch

@Joshua Zepeda The Dolphins have the 4th most amount of wins in NFL history since the AFC/NFC merger. Plus only undefeated team, and 2 SB wins. They are definitely up there in football royalty.
As a 49ers fan I’m rooting for the Dolphins this year for Coach McDaniel, and this was a great win for them!
I think this is the perfect example of “week 1” in the NFL. ALOT of QB’s struggled today. Literally only a handful of QB’s played well IMO. I think Tua played “alright” he wasn’t horrible, but he wasn’t great. There were definitely some throws he missed and i bet he wish he had back. The offensive line didn’t help, and the run game was nowhere to be found. I definitely think and hope he gets better week 2, but to say its time to move on after this performance is crazy.
@TalkToMe I wasn’t disagreeing with you. I hope he can prove that he belongs. The AFC is a tough spot for QBs , lots of talent at the position.
@Jeremy Dull Me too. He definietly has to play better. Im gonna give him a small pass for game 1 simply because MOST of the QB’s in week 1 didnt play well. Also this was his first game with ALL of his WR’s playing.

@icqpimp The new head coach McDaniel has been with Kyle Shanahan for years. He’s worked with him in Houston, Washington, Cleveland, Atlanta and San Francisco. My understanding is that he’s contributed a lot to Shanahan’s system, particularly in the running game. He is going to run a very similar offense to SF in Miami, focused on the outside zone running game and pre-snap motion to stretch the defense horizontally and mostly a short to intermediate passing game designed to get receivers in space for yards after the catch.
As a Pats fan, congrats to the Dolphins. You kicked our butts fair and square.

Say what you want about the dolphins. They have my respect for continuing to beat Bill Belichick and for always getting obscure pointless wins against the Patriots to hinder Brady or belichick in the postseason.
I don’t know what it is about this team but those two men have struggled immensely against them. And now that the dolphins are potentially good, hopefully those struggles continue. Not a fan of this team at all by the way but I’m always happy to see bad teams turn things around

As a Patriots fan, the only real concerns are Trent Brown’s missed block on the strip-sack and the failure to contain Waddle on the TD. Miami outplayed us and have an incredibly talented team, and the pick in the end zone was the perfect storm – from an insane deflection to the Holland being in the perfect spot to make a big play. You can blame Mac or Parker but if Holland was much further away it’s likely incomplete. Hill and Waddle were contained well for the most part, great game by Miami.
Let’s Go Fins! Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, Xavien Howard, Jevon Holland, Chase Edmonds, Jaylen Waddle, Raheem Mostert, & Emmanuel Ogbah all displayed effort in Week 1, and we are 1-0 let’s make it 11-6 or 12-5 by the end of the year
