I’m not given my up on Mac but something was definitely off with him before his injury. Bailey seems to mesh better Patricia and Judge. He was very poised and accurate. This week I think will be very telling.

    You must not of watched Brady in 2001. It was short passes and screens. He also had Troy Brown. And I also never said anything about Zappe being Brady.

    What was off was Mac having a weaker line. We lost Karras to CIN. We lost Shaq to TB. He doesn’t trust the line and on top of that, we changed to an entirely new offensive system.

    We’ve seen him adjust throughout before his injury.

    Zappe was playing with the same exact line. I think Mac should still be the starter and will be fine. But I also liked what I saw from a guy who was supposed to be a developmental QB.

    @mshat18Zappe is playing with the same exact line and learning the same new system BUT FROM SCRATCH. Mac has to adjust to missing players and unlearn all the stuff he was taught in JMD’s system, while processing the new and applying it on the go.

    Zappe is getting the new stuff without any confusion of turnover from previous schemes like Mac.
