Sucks for some of the bubble guys who couldn’t show anything today because the whole offensive and defensive front was getting blown off the ball. Hopefully the intensity picks up in coming weeks. May need some better depth in the defensive middle and at corner.
You think it was bad today? Wait til we play the chargers
@Donald Trumpp the bills are better then the chargers
@Milo DeMars yeah bro totally
@Donald Trumpp the bills are the best team in the league this year
We better get the rush game on both sides figured out
Gotta flush this one and move on to Minnesota. It wasn’t our starters at all. No reflection on our main squad at all. But depth could be a concern.
People worried because our 3rd string can’t beat one of the best teams in the NFL lol. Go find another team y’all not too bright.
It really level sets our expectations, huh?
maybe Buffalo or Tennessee?
I trust Coach Hackett. I think he knows what he’s doing.
Why?
Got to trust them to all to learn, adapt and improve. I do. We’ve played 2 preseason games with a heck of a lot of massive changes since last season. It will sort itself out. I think we’ll be ok. Keep expectations realistic FFS
@Kendell Ellington lol exactly
If he drafted Chubb … then oops
I saw this coming, Buffalo Bills starters are way too strong for Broncos’ 2nd stringers
We didn’t even use our 2nd stringers😆
Facts josh only played a drive tho without our ones we still would have won
None of our starting secondary played yesterday, except maybe Elam
Bills starters only played the first 6 plays
This is why we have preseason to work on getting ready for regular season….GO Broncos 👏👏👏
This has been the problem going back 5 years. The broncos line is weak. They get physically dominated on both sides of the ball.
We blew every team out last preseason and still ended up with a losing record and the Rams lost all of theirs and they won the SB. I am not panicking however CB depth looks horrendous
@A J almost all teams would love to have a QB like josh Allen he’s a special talent, but then again I’ve seen my team win a super bowl. Not every team makes the right decisions all the time.
They used all their starters denver used no starters
@A J yeah just like you guys blew it when you didn’t draft Tom Brady n then had to be his lap dog for two decades everyone’s a draft expert 4 years later
The one thing I’d take away from this is the broncos didn’t even seem like they showed up. To me that’s a coaching thing. The bills came and just rolled them. Only played there starters for two series(Josh Allen 1) and then it was just backups vs backups. The broncos players getting hurt and blown up in the trenches that’s all intensity. If I where they’re coaching staff I’d play at least some starters the last game you can’t go into the regular season with this lack of focus, professionalism and effort.
Lol stop
Don’t hit the panic button just yet! Rookie coaching staff got exposed and lack of depth on the roster showed for sure today! Thank goodness for preseason that’s where we need to make adjustments
This game boiled down to depth of talent. The Bills simply have a much deeper team. That is often the difference between a rising team and a team at the top. Losing 2 first round and 2 second round picks will be a challenge for GM Paton. Still, thrilled to have Wilson.
Bills also used all their starters.. Denver used none
Broncos fan here, I’m glad Denver got to see the competition they’re gonna have to go through to get to February, losing to teams like Buffalo in the preseason is a gift in disguise!
Most teams don’t get to learn this kind of information about themselves and about a team like Buffalo without suffering a regular season loss.
Denver got invaluable information for free.
And this is where most Broncos fans are not understanding how this is a huge gain for us.
@lewboski the dude yup no debt with a Walmart owner lol
@Robert Wartenbe it sucks being a fan of the broncos since Lyle Alzado and Randy Gradishier era
Exactly like not gone invest anything into preseason however one thing they can take away is that we need better depth
@Markel Washington Jr I agree better dept is needed nobody that played for the Broncos stood out and better coaching
You’re totally right
I know it’s nothing to worry about but the only d-lineman I saw get push was Matt Henningsen and the only other player I saw read gaps and tackle properly was wade barrington the o-line was just simply out matched as they got bullied because there not aggressive most of our players aren’t aggressive and you need some of that grit to compete, but overall this shows the coaches and players things they need to work on and players that simply don’t have it for us.
The defense looked AWFUL, they were cooked at the half. Those dudes straight up looked like they gave up! If any of the one’s go down we are in trouble. How can Buffalo have three units that looked so dominant and our three units looked so lost? The Fan is going to be unlistenable this week!
You are right our depth ends with the ones, and we have yet to see if they are any good together. My confidence is shaken by getting beat this bad even though this is preseason.
Don’t beat yourselves up too bad, Beane and McDermott have been building a monster here in Buffalo and they’ve been doing it for 6 years now, there’s gonna be a lot of teams that are feeling embarrassed after they play us this year
Coach is right great way to evaluate and keep the best of our best!!!
Do yall not realize 1/2 if not more of the broncos players on the field today won’t even be on a team come regular season? Pre season is to get starters and coaches back in to the rhythm of the game, and to decide which rookies to add to the depth chart.
My take. Hackett has that optimism, catalytic attitude, intelligent and encouraging mainframe. It is a wonderful thing but I am worried we need more of a Belicheck strict formal vibe this year. It feels too loose and I think our sharpness as opposed to jovial nature is needed.
Nate if you hear this, be you. Never change. Your strength is that optimism and that can also win a championship.
Doesn’t bother me bills put there starters against our backups if they want to show there fans the players they expect when attending the game a little show that’s great it’s a good opportunity for broncos backups to learn there mistakes & prove their skills when the real deal emerges cuz anything could happen a starter gets hurt or need to catch a break. A lot need to change if guys want to be here! Go Broncos Country Let’s Ride 🐎
team looked dead dont care what unit played what unit
Hackett hired a defensive analyst as a coordinator that is what we witnessed. And hope he figures out that hugging players in practice is what make them play like they did today.
Yes the Bills we’re playing against a bunch of 2nd stringers to start, but man, even the bills 2nd and 3rd string looked dominant against Denver. Teams are gonna be feasting on the waiver wire when Buffalo has to make cuts
