Nathaniel Hackett on loss to Colts: ‘The offense is going through some adversity’ – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
Mike Whicker

It’s official. The Bronco’s offense is total garbage.

titsmcgeethethree

love when the reporter gets ahead of the scripted “yeah i’m gonna have to look at the tape” and Hackett goes for it anyway lmao

    jax jones

    Walked clean into it 😂

Dxstxrb

maybe vick wasn’t such a bad coach after all

    Nicholas Frat

    Nah he was

    Armilli

@Nicholas Frat Better than what is being presented now. Though, that’s not saying much.

    VoID_Havoc-

Shurmur was the problem and Fangio was way too stubborn.

    Aaron Sondag

@Armilli no Fangio was worse. His stubbornness ruined a lot of guys including von. Look what happened after he went to the rams and now the bills. Von is killing it.

    David From Colorado

Yeah you were probably happy Joseph was gone and when Vic wasn’t getting the job done now you’re saying Joseph wasn’t such a bad coach after all

Dxstxrb

we need to start running russ’ offense. the run game is non existent nobody gets open and the line consistently lets free people run through them without contact this offense as a whole is sorry

JeremySeanA

“Opportunities were there” – translation – Russ needs to throw to open receivers and receivers need to catch it

Tj Oasay

I can’t with this team no more 🤦🏽🤦🏽it’s hard being a bronco fan

    Tyrone Biggums

i’m right here with you man. It has been very hard being a broncos fan for the last 7 years.

    Rick Volcano

You guys are glorified cry babies. Letting football effect your attitude is pathetic. You know how lucky a franchise is to have an Elway then followed by a Manning? You guys on a statistical level are not likely to have another player of that caliber. Get used to losing lol. In fact just rewatch old seasons and have the same Super Bowl 50 party every year because that’s all this team has is memory’s. Hilarious.

    Aaron Vargas

@Rick Volcano what’s pathetic is going to every post to be negative lmao

    Rick Volcano

@Aaron Vargas Negative? You mean tell it how it is. You are correct. A lot of people these days call the truth negative. Still facts. Anything else?

BroncosFan1997

We miss you Peyton 😢

    Janelle Stevens

@Rick Volcano : We don’t need a troll like you to like the Broncos. Dude life goes on. My life is no different today than it was yesterday. It’s just a freaking game. Of course we want to win, but no one is jumping off a building. Your glee doesn’t change anything. No team is always good. There are up seasons, and down seasons for EVERY team. There is always a changing of the guard. Look at Pitt, and NE. They look no better than the Broncos. On the flip side of the coin, look at Philly, the Bills, the Bengals, and the Dolphins. They are the teams on the upswing. The Broncos will get there again despite your “You guys will never have, blah, blah, blah” comment. Grow up. It’s not that serious!

    Janelle Stevens

    @Che Cr And…..???

    Che Cr

@Janelle Stevens and? it’s the 5th game of the season and there’s time for improvement just like with Peyton. Tf you mean and 😭🤣 same record so far

    R B

Colts fan here. We definitely miss Peyton as well

    Rick Volcano

@Janelle Stevens The fanbase is weak. Always has been. No patience. You cared enough to type a whole story so just stop. Thanks lady but l think you’d be a lot more useful anywhere else then this comment section. Tons of facts. You should be on the field helping out. Or maybe just in the locker room eh?

Banning Lobmeyer

We are missing Tim Patrick…on the field, in the locker room, and between the ears of that offense

    Reign Williams

Honestly think Patrick was the 1 and Sutton the 2… Big loss losing Patrick for the season

    MayoToast

    @Reign Williams Patrick is a 2

    tn15

@carl pena The receivers are getting open, Russ is just missing them. Also, OBJ’s attitude would likely only further propel this team into disarray.

    Malcolm Reid

@tn15 yeah that’s true to a certain extent, sometimes when he does hit them, they drop the ball. It’s both the QB and receiving core and they need to get it together

    Joe Schmo

    @carl pena
    The Bills picked up OBJ.

HaloMediaRecords

I never seen such a dead group of players and the crowd booing and silent for most of the game. The fans left before the game even ended. That kind of stuff happens in madden

N3d_Ludd

Looked angry most of the game. RW3 needs to improve drastically going forward. His control, vision, movement are just not good enough. Fans leaving b4 OT says it all.

Lance

Expectations can be a very dangerous thing.

James Crawford

Aaron Rodgers was the reason the Packers had such a good offense in the last few years. This guy is completely out of his depth and is actually bordering on a complete fraud. Get a competent coach in like Sean Payton, Eric Bieniemy or Jim Caldwell. These performances are bringing shame and humiliation on this legendary franchise.

M R

Scored 23 points on Sunday and 3 field goals on Thursday, come on man. No touchdowns 🙄

Brent Bman

Did he really say that he “got the go to go for it on 4th down”? He has to have someone tell him it is OK? I understand sorting through input from the staff, but ultimately it has to be his decision, not getting approval from “someone” on what he wants to call.

Morbius Effect

Thought we would finally have a winning year after 7 years of a college football team but no another year same broncos

    Rick Volcano

Damn straight. Get used to it.

Bert Chiu

Objective SeaHawks Fan here — as much as your new head coach is having some learning curve issues, the onus falls upon the players to execute the plays called — or the overall offensive strategy — whatever the case may be.

Hackett did not throw those two ABYSMAL interceptions that Russ threw — the “fly ball” in the early 4th to the Colts “left fielder” and the HORRIFIC endzone pick with a couple minutes left that allowed the Colts the opportunity to tie the game and force OT.

Having followed the SeaHawks during the entire 10-year Wilson era, the last 6 years of his tenure were particularly trying. His LAST season was atrocious — despite his finger injury which sidelined him for 3 games.

Russ has changed for the worse in my humble opinion — his focus seems to be more on his “image” than on his performance — and the decisions he makes behind center (and in shotgun) are clear evidence that he appears to be regressing in his command of the position. At his age he should be at the peak of his game progressing through his reads and progressions — but instead he is focusing on his primary receiver without scanning the field for better passing options.

5 games is a small sample size, but thus far Russ is 2 for 18 in end zone passing attempts — and was 0 for 6 last night alone including the interception.

Is Russ COOKED??? Only time will tell 🥴

    B M

Anyone who pays minimal attention to the NFL and Hollywood knew this. Whoever decided to pay Russ like this lived under a rock.

    Bert Chiu

@B M giving Russ the benefit of the doubt — I don’t think ANYONE could have foreseen this debacle. And it’s not to say that his career is over in Denver by any means, but certainly what has happened the first 5 games of the season is tremendously concerning. Either Russ has a EUREKA moment before the next game and resurrects his reputation for the short term, or he continues to proceed along this downward “spiral” (no pun intended) is anyone’s guess. But at the moment he is surely trending in the WORST direction imaginable. 😱

Spencer Davidson

We need a new coach

J CALLI

So glad I didn’t have high expectations for this team. But I didn’t think it would be this bad!

Janelle Stevens

That was one of the worst Broncos games that I have ever seen, and I have been watching since the late 70’s, Started out as a kid and became a loyal fan. I have never wavered. That said, something has got to give. The one thing about the Broncos is that even in their losing seasons, they were always entertaining. Since Peyton left, that has been gone, and last nights game was one of the worst. At no point during that game did I feel even a tinge of excitement, or confidence in the team. A loss is more acceptable if you at least have SOME reason to cheer at any point in the game. The game was not only a mess, but it was BORING! I don’t know what the problem is, but it needs to be fixed. I was one of the fans that never thought that we were going to come out firing on all cylinders this season because there is just too much newness with the team, from top to bottom, but I never expected this. That said, the fans that are present in the stadium are also a problem. They boo too much, and too loudly. I get their frustration, but the boos come out too quickly. They are the fans that should be supporting the team most, because they are there!!. The team needs their energy more now than ever. I also hate that this is what our fan base has become. Broncos fans have never been so nasty to the team. And the fans that left en-masse when the game could have still been won, were the worst offenders. They don’t want the team to stop fighting, yet they gave up on the team on national tv. Not a good look. I’m not saying that they should never boo, because they paid their money, and they have expectations, but this is bad…. Russel Wilson has to do better, the O-Line has to do better, the entire offense has to do better, and coach Hackett has to do better. At least Melvin Gordon didn’t fumble the ball! You know things are bad, when that is the highlight….. I will always be a fan, but this team is a mess!

Canceled my trip with my brother for NOV 20 game at home against the Raiderettes after watching last night’s disastrous loss. SMH. Bring back Uncle Vic and cousin Drew. This season is lost just 5 weeks in
