The most predictable play calling in the league. Williams out now is a dagger the way this O is set up as it is
It’s just the typical Russell offense. It looks exactly like the offense Russ played in with the 3 other coordinators he played with. It’s just unsophisticated backyard football with no rhythm, no timing. Just the typical Russell offense.
Broncos’ receivers have dropped over 15 passes this season. And I mean 2 hands on the ball type drops. That’s a concentration issue.
They have done that for years! Although one heck of a catch and throw From Wilson to Hamler Would like to see more shots downfield for sure!
@August Brante Definitely 👍🏾. I think as the offense becomes accustomed to playing together in the new system the deep shots will come. But Denver will need a consistent running game to keep defenses around the league from playing both safeties back in pass coverage. That’s what happened mostly in the 2nd half once Williams got hurt. Wilson had to throw and run the ball 🏈.
Start getting our speed guys outside the tackles and gain like that. We don’t always have to run through our guards switch up it’s that simple!
I don’t love how they battled. They let Russ down big time. Hackett, I’m really being tired of the talk that means nothing.
Let’s make this Melvin his last season with the Broncos. Enough of this talk if we didn’t resign him in the off season.
We can’t just try to keep it close and come from behind every week! We have to play for the win in all 4 quarters!
I admire your optimism but I also say to you keep drinking the Kool-Aid. Nathaniel Hackett is probably the single most incompetent coach ever to be a head coach in the NFL. They have brand new ownership that has no idea what it means to own an NFL team or manage it from the top Like Pat Bowlen did. The Denver Broncos will probably have their worst record since 2016. You need to just wake up and smell the coffee
I tell you what, this off-season we better not pick up a single player other than O line players. How many years are you gonna continue to blame QB’s when it’s not even their fault most of the time. Any one of our QB’s could’ve had a lot better seasons with a decent O line. What is so damn hard to understand about it? GD, get your head outta your asses!🤦♂️
This has been the problem for years. It’s time to let Bolles go.
On a positive note it was a joy to see KJ Hamler make that play with a really good throw from Russ. I also think there’s progress between Russ and receivers. Injuries, penalties, and turnovers are concerning. We play again on Thursday and it’s a road game vs Colts who are a similar team with good defense and talent on offense not yet clicking. We will be deep into the depth chart for that game. Opportunities for those players to put out some good tape and improve their stock. Next 4 games are on the road, a critical month for this team. Time for pros to be pros! So far I would say we are not meeting expectations. We need to get it together.
Thursday is a home game
@Grant Glover Thank you! But after that we hit the road for a stretch. We will see what happens! Dulcich week 6 maybe?
@Vincent Nutt and hopefully Simmons, we are missing him badly
This just shows this team and lack of drive just by being satisfied about how “the guys battled well”
Not convinced Hackett is a legit HC. 2 steps forward 3 steps back.
he’s at his 1st go at it bro, chill out GM.
@C Thomas bruh other rookie coaches don’t look this bad as him….he’s got to leave
@C Thomas Most ordinary people could coach better than this.
The Broncos need to call Sean Payton and let this guy go, he ain’t it sir.
Loved how the guys battled
Would be 1-3 but we recovered his multiple fumbles vs San Francisco. With all the growing pains the last thing we need is a turnover problem
“Great plan by the opponent to strive for good down and distance combinations.” Might the Broncos possibly strive for that at some point, or is that just a good strategy for their opponent?
Hackett looked like a little boy on the side lines…you’ll find it hard to believe that he was the offensive coordinator with the Packers after watching that, we have to thank the Raiders short onside kick, our kick/punt returner and one bomb pass from Wilson for the measly efforts in that game!
Finally somebody like yourself who sees reality. Nathaniel Hackett is the most incompetent coach to ever stand in NFL sideline. I would take my five-year-old daughter and have her coach the Denver Broncos and she would do better than this guy
If this team can’t recover from one turnover and being down by 1 at half we have much deeper problems than Gordon’s fumble. I bet a team like KC could have overcome that.
O–line RG RT- problems, can’t dial up a blitz, LB not in the right place, scared to use press coverage blitz on 3rd. The biggest problem QB, coach, and system NOT clicking at ALL!!!
The Raiders got into our backfield all to easily many times.
I still believe in Hackett he continues to improve every week still the team continues to make too many self inflicted mistakes
“I really loved how the guys battled” is the phrase used by every really bad losing coach. I played football for a national championship Division 1 team and had one year in the pros so I know a little something about what I’m talking about. Coaches that lean on “my guys really battled” are trying to point fault away from themselves. This guy needs fired yesterday. Nathaniel Hackett is an embarrassingly terrible coach
WOW! Mel Gordon fumbled and it cost us a win. Really? I’m shocked! Hold on, oh I forgot he does that all the time and will contine to do that. He is the best player for the other team. Hell of a job Mel, keep up the good work.
