Sir, the reason Hackett is still HC, is because he has earned the right to be HC. Just because the team has struggled, you need to remember that we’ve been in every game this season ! Hackett is a new HC, & everyone knew that, but I believe expectations were unrealistic. If Paton thought Hackett was losing this team, he’d have made a move. But this team has remained together, working hard & playing hard, you know the HC still has their respect. So relax, let the season play itself out. ——At 76 y/o, i’ve been a fan from the very start, & I say the man deserves to play out the season. ——–MJL
@Michael Lazzeri you got be kidding!, this guy can’t call timeouts he had to hire someone to tell him when to do it, he rather win 3 yards and give another oportunity to the raiders instead of taking the sack play before, he sent a pass play when even the SACK to Russell would take time off the board, he is the clown that gave Melvin Fumble the ball after consistence drops, some even without direct contact to the football, this sad excuse for a HC called timeouts when the seahawks where kneeling, and guess what after loosing 15 seconds while the raiders were trying to get in formation to spike the ball HE CALLED A FRICKIN TIMEOUT

@Michael Lazzeri ‘playing hard’ you can’t be serious. Hackett calling screen plays and runs in 3 and 10 is horrible. Let alone his coaching decisions early season.
Because he’s managed to find other people to hold accountable.
If he needs all this help on calling plays an clock management . Y is he a coach sounds like he’s a better assistant coach .
His play calling was fine, he gave it up because he has to be the scapegoat for Rusty Wilson who can’t run an offense and has gotten every offensive coordinator fired instead of promoted everywhere he has ever played in the nfl. He got Darrell Bevel, Brian Schotty fired and was on pace to get Shane Waldron fired but now with Geno Shane waldron has a top 5 offense in the nfl. Rusty Wilson just can’t run any offensive scheme and has to play backyard football but is no longer quick/explosive/agile enough to do it.
Hackett doesn’t call the plays
Hackett plays off Aaron Rodger’s greatness which allows him to get a HC job with Denver. He’s been fired before as OC on other teams, duh. Clearly out of his league. Wouldn’t let him coach my HS football team. Sorry Bronco fans with your massive payment to Wilson and your horrible coach. Years to come with your anguish.

I think a lot of y’all let the media has y’all’s heads gassed up with Superbowl talk or even playoff talk with Russ coming here. All the hype about how the afc west was the division to watch. The expectation is to win yes but y’all can’t even go a season and let this team try and figure it out with ALL NEW stuff and a crap ton of injuries. It’s painful to watch and hear about but this wasn’t the rams when Stafford came along or Tampa when Brady came along. This isn’t our year, sadly to say. I’m still rooting for this team to get it together, even if it’s maybe the last few games of the season. We will have something to build off of.
When you have one of the best defenses in the entire NFL yes you expect even an average quarterback to make your football team good so yes Denver fans definitely upset that they have one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL and are paying him like one of the best you don’t build around that
@Michael Drake I agree! I’m upset too. It’s been embarrassing to have a QB getting paid that much and not producing. I was only expecting an improvement over last season only because everyone and everything needing to gel 1st.
