Titans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair's path to the NFL wasn’t an easy one. Music City Football Track 4, Part 2, looks into Al-Shaair’s challenges to reach success, and him finding a way to help others in his new NFL city.

As a kid growing up in Tampa, Fla., Al-Shaair bounced from place to place to live. He oftentimes slept on the floor, and sometimes ate just one meal a day. But he went to bed dreaming of better days ahead.

Al-Shaair dealt with more adversity as he got older, including dealing with a serious knee injury while at Florida Atlantic University. It led to even more disappointment, like not getting picked in the NFL Draft.

Through it all, Al-Shaair kept the focus, and he kept working.

Al-Shaair eventually made it to Tennessee, signing with the Titans back in March after playing previously with the 49ers.

‘The Riser’ delves deep into Al-Shaair’s mindset, and his motivation to succeed in Tennessee. Along the way, he wants to help others who’ve also dealt with their own struggles, including homelessness.
