@23jakesmith23 he has never had a full season. His also played on the browns and bills who were the worst teams in the nfl at the time yet he still managed to make a pro bowl

If you haven’t played a full season after being in the NFL for 10 years, it means you’re not good enough to keep the starting job. My god, realize that and quit this garbage narrative 😂😂

He got a concussion in week 2 and Baker replaced him. It doesn't take 15 weeks to recover from a concussion. He was fine by the end of the season but the Browns still chose to keep him on the bench lmao.
You keep pointing out that he's injury prone, like it helps his case of being a reliable starter.

The problem with Kyle saying Jimmy is 24-8 as a starter is he’s defining a player by a team stat.
Deshaun Watson went 4-12 as a starter last year and you’d take him ahead of Jimmy 99 times out of 100.

@Liam Briggs While I agree Jimmy is not better than Deshaun. He did when his first 5 starts with the Niners when their defense was bottom third of the league and in 2019 was top ten in most statical categories for qbs. I think he is more than just an above average qb (certainly not elite), he just gets injured too much.

Listen I’m a Patriots fan, and I’m already sick of hearing about how this is ‘the first time Bill Belichick has ever drafted a QB in the first round’; he’s had the same QB as the starter since the last time they drafted a QB in the first round, in Drew Bledsoe, who was drafted before Bill got there. It’s a straw man argument.
“What is up with that?” I’m pretty sure it’s clear to everyone who has watched news from the nfl in the last couple months. How is he gonna act that surprised as if people haven’t been discussing the possibility of them drafting a qb lol.
