If you’re on the Zack Wilson bandwagon…..You haven’t watched Zack Wilson play.
Im not talking the highlights.
I’m talking the last 3 years. 2019 Zack was trash… 2020 he played against weak weak opponents…he was NEVER pressured..he takes 5 seconds on reads with open receivers…bad footwork…low accuracy…can only run on players who will never play a down in the NFL…
the red flag if that wasnt enough is that in 3 years at QB he was never named a team core captain….I’ve never heard of a 3 years QB not named captain…very odd…very odd..this kid is another Josh Rosen.
I’ve been a Jets fan since the early 80s…Im 50 years old my daughter goes to BYU shes a junior…we’ve seen almost every game the kid played in…PLEASE take Justin Fields and not the 1 year wonder WACK Wilson

Zach did play poorly in 2019 but that was mostly do to a recent shoulder surgery and a hand injury. And adjusting to a bed offense and new coaches. Once he healed up and had a whole offseason to work on things other than rehab from surgery he grew by leaps and bounds.
I’ve watched every BYU game for about a decade now and tons of college ball. Zach made throws and plays that were just crazy. Poor competition or not that kid has great QB skills. Never seen an arm quite like it at BYU since I’ve been a fan. Some of the throws he made didn’t even seem like they should be possible and would leave me shaking my head and laughing. It was almost unfair.
Again. Fields must be the Jets QB. Wilson only play 1 year of college ball while Field is a champion. Fields must be the pick.

I’m surprised Eisen didn’t pick Fields the way he pandered to Kirk Herbstreit on his show the other day. Setting up these softball questions so he buddy could look good to his Ohio State Alma Mater. He sold out his NFL team the Jets and Wilson and I’m sure Eisen’s Alma Mater Michigan were disgusted at his complete suck up job to Herbstreit and Ohio State.

@MinePlay 512 Fields is injury prone, panicks under pressure, has a poor deep ball, cannot read the field, and has poor decision making. And most importantly, HE IS FROM OHIO STATE!

What people forget is that we have Mike Lafleur. People are saying Fields fits in the 49ers offense but we have the same offense now. Fields is a way better pick than Wilson and Fields proved it for multiple seasons. Him and Lawrence have been the top 2 for years now. I pray the Jets pick fields.

How doesn’t anybody remember that Aaron Rodgers was not the most exiting qb in that draft, he had horrible mechanics, but he let’s coached up to be how good he his. Wilson is Much better than Rodgers entering the NFL. BUT, will the Jets screw him up?
