I also believe Matt Canada and Tomlin have put in his head to take the safe read and minimize your chances of turning the ball over and that could be causing his reluctance to throw deep passes.

I really wanna see Mitch be the perfect fit for our steelers. Love his attitude wanting to be here. Sure, Kenny is our 1st round.. but let’s give this dude a chance. Kenny will be around for a while. Let’s go Mitch, you got this!

Mike T is smart as a fox….he relishes watching Mitch perform under pressure to see how he responds on and off the field….that’s where the patience come in. Kenny is there if needed.

Mitch was playing not to lose until the Pats had 14, then he was playing to win.

George was very open most of the game. Hopeful my Steelers turn it around and get this offense going. We have the talent.

If he’s the same Trubisky from Chicago he’ll have a monster game. 300yds 2TD 1 rush TD and make you think he’s turning the corner. Then he’ll have 2 or 3 games like the last one rinse and repeat. I really wanted to like the dude but it looks like not much has changed so far. He needs consistency.

Something is definitely off watching Mitch play with the steelers compared to his past games with Chicago. While Mitch rarely played at very high level, he definitely had his moments and used to push the ball downfield much much much more compared to what he has done with the steelers these past few games. While he was never the most accurate, an okay amount of his long passes would land and if they didn’t, the threat of the long ball would open the field for Mitch to make big runs. I don’t know if he is playing scared or if he just isn’t syncing with the Canada offense. I am not a big Trubisky fan nor am I saying the problem is Canada. I can just see that something isn’t the same with how often he has been checking down. Maybe Trubisky needs to say “F” it and start throwing the ball downfield even if it’s risky or possibly not really the game plan.

I think Mitch will be more aggressive , he is smart enough to know that this is his chance to slow the kenny talk. 2-1 2-0 in division, looks good to me.
