    @Jarrad Bruessel How would Pickett be a waste of a pick? He could’ve learned behind Cousins and then took over when Cousins contract is up or even before. Pickett is tearing it up in preseason and our back ups can hardly move the ball.

    @Preston Colbenson because pickett has been heavily scouted by the steelers since his college team practiced at the same facility the steelers which means they are planning around his style. Plus we need a safety ro replace harrison smith one day and also we were struggling defensively. Pickett should be starter next season. Unless something dramatically changes in cousins where isn’t nearly as consistent as he has been, they will be keeping him around for 2 more years at minimum.
