Nope, not all points. Defense gave up 20 points in game 1, yet statistically it should’ve been a beat down. It isn’t necessarily about points scored, though it takes points to win the game. It’s about execution. Missed tackles, missed assignments, penalties, trying to do someone else’s job, no gap discipline, lack of effort, taking each other out of the play, bad angles, etc. Add all of that plus an offense that turns it over and asking a defense with the aforementioned issues to bail you out is a recipe for disaster. This team doesn’t play complimentary football. That’s on the coaches and players. There is a reason the team held their heads low when Dak got inured. They know, and all the Dak haters know despite the turnovers, he and Zeke is who they leaned on to bail the team out…ala Romo all over again.

@George Plus when Andy fumbled in their own RedZone, as well as when our Special Teams unit had 12 instead of 11 on the field and they got an easy FG. That was 19pts we gave up on small mistakes that need to be fixed but are easily fixable.

Doesn’t help that Zeke let the ball get intercepted when Dak threw it to him and then Dalton fumbled at their RedZone. That was Two TDs, plus their 2 pt conversion, as well when our special teams had 12 players in the field instead of 11. Doesn’t help our already struggling defense that we keep making mistakes we gave up 19pts right there for free.

By game…20 points to the Rams. Per commentator in the game, “the score doesn’t reflect how bad the Boys were beat”…We lost by 3, but boy was that ugly. After that, the roof caved in. Count on giving up a whole lot of points the remainder of the season. We were already weak in the middle of the defense as well. Poe gets manhandled in the middle. Don’t know what happened to Woods this year. Is it a technique that has changed?
