Ceiling is 12-5 and another loss in the wildcard. The floor is 8-9 no playoff appearance.

Tyler smith is a better run blocker but McGovern better at pass pro so run game or protect dak
Honestly I would say after the first preseason game that Smith was as good as or better at pass pro than McGovern
@Christopher Beard against Back ups McGovern is looking better vs the starters he may become better but they not chancing it when he was drafted said it would be hard to beat out McGovern

The run game will help protect dak
8 or 9 wins. We’re definitely starting 0-2, which reduces our chances of making the playoffs to damn near ZERO.
@Kevin Campbell Nobody knows the future, but we know the past, which is following a good season with a completely mediocre one. The Cowboys have not been to the playoffs 2 years in a row since 2006/2007. No team has won the NFCE 2 years in a row since 2004/2005. Also, I don’t watch ESPN, and it’s called being a frustrated (but realistic) fan.

We have a looooong way to go. All of our patience will be tested. Just ask yourself one ? when the wheels fall off. Did they actually want it bad enough? They haven’t. When we consistently lose to first year coaches and game plans then we aren’t prepared. It’s been the same outcome last 25 years. #Snakebitten
Believe me I understand, been a fan since I was a kid which was 90 and on, but I try and stay positive about it. And I got a good feeling. Side note the more these reporters go after coach the more I like him. What’s their beef with Mike? Like the dude from dallas morning news, that guy reminds me of a CNN anchor. And at what point do we start asking questions about NFL referees over flagging the cowboys.

I do not believe MM. IMO, he “talks a good game”, when in front of the cameras, but I do not think that he really does anything to address and more importantly, reduce the penalties. MM in his first Cowboyys’ press conference basically told Jerry Jones that he really did not study every game as he had told Jerry Jones during the coach interview process….so, that says a lot to me about MM. A caveat, I was for MM becoming the Cowboys’ HC even before his name came up for consideration.
