Definitely a class act, I just hope it’s not all an “act”. I think he is the real deal and he is young in the game (his position as an NFL GM), and he’s going to make mistakes. There are a lot of rumors out there but I tend to take Mayock at his word.

@Matthew Pohl I respectfully disagree. Mayock is not going to attack his character but make no mistake this is exactly what it is about. If it was correctable football stuff he would be here. THE DUDE HAS PROBLEMS. The problem with him being at his Grandmas house during the raid is he damn well knew what was going on and what was at stake for him and his kid. The dude was willing to throw it all away because of fam, the same fam that is selling drugs on the corner and not going anywhere. Look part of growing up is not associating with friends and or family that are bad influences, some people never grow up.

We didn’t lose anything really we took a shot on him and recouped a pick only went from 3rd rd to 4th rd and who cares about a 6th rd pick because later on Bowden won’t be worth anything if he stays on our team because he wouldn’t get carries because we are on another level than he was and that’s why he’s gone.

@Jose Perales Mayock is a class act. He would never EVER hang anyone else out to dry, certainly not his HC. I bet you Gruden would say the exact same thing had they asked him that question.

xs2dan yup he’s definitely a class act. Perhaps it was Grudens pick but we don’t know that for sure, what we do know is Mayock took responsibility, we our 4th rounder back so let’s move on. Not the end of the world missing on a 3rd round pick.

@John Bencomo so you want them to cut Renfrow who played well for them last year actually has nfl experience for a dude that’s slow, can’t block, apparently had character issues and wasn’t even good at the position In college. Renfrow was a clutch player for Clemson and won championship no way you take bowden over him

Bowden couldn’t block. Bowden couldn’t get the position down. Bowden didn’t fit anywhere but running back on our roster. Bowden didn’t take the time to put the work in to learn the playbook. Bowdens work ethic was not that of a Henry Ruggs or Bryan Edwards. Bowden wasn’t mixing well with other guys in the locker room. Bowden punched a guy during pre game work out in college. Then Bowden got caught up at his Grandma house which was a TRAPHOUSE this off season! Bowden had character issues. Oh! And apparently Bowden just couldn’t block and that was it 😒😒. Is the issue clear now??
