If you win the easy ones, you’ll always be in the mix, if you take the bad teams for granted – that’s how you get upset. If you focus on winning the next game you may get there. I you focus to far ahead mostly likely you’ll be disappointed.

I’m annoyed mike Evans isn’t in the discussion of best receiver in the nfl. The dude is CONSISTENT ! He didn’t have a year or 2 of dominant numbers and then was mediocre.. he’s been playing at a high level on subpar teams.

I’m a Pats fan, but this year I’m more interested in the Bucs. Belichick contrary to his usual thrifty gene, is over paid a lot of old guys this year, he’s lost some good players, and doesn’t have much room in the cap to manuever. I’d be pleaseantly surprised if they make the playoffs, but I don’t think so.

@Seth Chandler Anyone being honest with themselves who actually watched the games back then will tell you Rice was more willing to attack the middle of the field than Moss. It’s not taking anything away from how great Moss was.
@Bucsfansince ’80 Jerry Rice rarely ever got hit or injured. That was part of his greatness. His supreme conditioning, work ethic, consistency and elusiveness. He was not a tough wr. Not in any sense. Even playing in the middle Jerry, due to his own incredible ability and the supreme scheme of the westcoast creating separation, did not take big shots. You brought up toughness and as far as Im concerned you are out of your depth here.
