He talked about the impressive final touchdown connection between Josh Allen and Dawson Knox, the continued chemistry between Allen and Stefon Diggs, and the landscape of the AFC. He went on to discuss why he thinks Matt Milano and Taron Johnson are two of the most important pieces to the the Bills defense and why he feels the Bills are ready for a championship run coming out of the bye week.

When I saw Jordan Phillips push one of the KC O-liners back right into Mahomes’ lap, I knew they would win. The 2nd interception seemed to be a combo play with Miller and Milano. Von took the tackle inside and then Milano waited until he saw Mahomes move to the right, thus forcing his throw which was picked off.

It’s Allens understanding of the game itself and defensive schemes that have been the monumental difference in his play. He was always a freak of nature physically. He didn’t wake up one day with it. So a lot of that credit needs to go to the guys behind the scenes for seeing the potential in the kid and then teaching him what he needs to know.

One of the biggest things that I love about this team is how composed and focused they are. They never over celebrate a play on either side of the ball. After games they’re humble and professional. I give a huge amount of credit to McDermott and Beane. They’re the best at what they do… hands down.
