Staley still has plenty to prove. He had several questionable calls last season and a few in key situations.

@Ryu Ken the defense couldn’t stop points from being scored so he relied on herbert instead. I’m sure this year we will see more punts because the defense can actually get stops

Ive loved Staley since day one and will stand by him through whatever he chooses to do on 4th down (even the two I disagreed with). That said, I was a bit critical of him last offseason when he didnt really pull in any of “his guys” from his years around the league. One year later and he has shut my mouth because the team has like 10 ex Staley guys on the roster now. I REALLY think that’s going to be huge for this team and I can overstate how much I have always (even on THAT team) I have enjoyed Mack….and how great it is to see him in powder blue.
Feel like Staley really wants some of his leaders to get more vocal . Head coach and DJ can’t always be the only ones trying to bring that vocal energy.Im sure some of our vet f.a.s will step up once they get established
