This was a good pre-season game, well played by both teams. I am gonna get hate for saying this but its true… its a pre-season game so no one really cares who wins or loses, it’s about evaluating individual player performances, especially in the 2nd and 3rd string areas.
The Bucs have some solid depth here, much better than last year. The Dolphins actually have talent, now let see if they can use that talent correctly when the games matter. GG’s all around.
@T Mac_305 He looks confident and has done well in training camp. I’d make him the starter. Come play off time Bucs’ can be confident they can go for a 55+ field goal instead of having to force a 4th down to get Succop into range.
As long as the Dolphin’s (Owner) does not interfere with the team, they should be in sold place. Probably 2nd in the AFC East.

If you are a football fan you will still love to watch these games and seeing the young talent that comes from day 3 of the draft and the undrafted rookies who are out there to showcase their abilities.

If Tyler Johnson played like this last year we might have made the Super Bowl again. Our receivers all going down (or leaving in embarrassing fashion) really hurt at the end of the season.

The true winner is Blaine Gabbert, the fact that he is still a backup QB in the NFL is amazing.
Well I’m glad that’s the back up kicker and looks like he will remain as such. One thing I can say about Succop he is clutch. 55 and closer he is money. Not a super strong leg but accurate and dependable. I’m just glad that was a pre season walk off field go the rookie just missed.
I like this new play calling Miami is doing more deep passes and a run game. The defense is still elite and hopefully this is something that will be shown in the regular season

I see much improvement from Trask if he’s able to read the field and get the ball out quicker would be great but that should come with time

Both teams have to be happy with this game. Trask looks like he took a step forward this off season and Miami looks like a solid team all around. Glad there are only 3 pre season games now, bring on the regular season!
I really like Skylar Thompson. I think he’s gonna be a solid backup for a long time. Someone might even offer him a starting opportunity at some point if he continues to improve
This game proves that special teams is always gonna be important. Never underrate just how pivotal that phase of the game is
