@Richforever ! I understand they don’t have a great pass rush but for these rookies to play the way they did it’s impressive. The Dolphins will definitely know what they have after these next 4 games: Bills, Jags, Seahawks, 49ers.

@72phinslogo Dline needs work for sure but I feel like the secondary could help too. I think that Noah, Xavien, and Jones could all be left to play man press with no help. They could have used a spy on Cam this game, and better yet blitz a lot more than they did. NE wide receivers are not going to beat this Miami secondary. I think the next time these two teams play Miami is going to be worlds better than what they were today.

Mike Pelligrino his comment is not wrong, the game plan was bad, whether he is a good/bad coach has yet to be seen. You are declaring him a bad coach from the one game. And I’ve seen you all offseason on multiple channels just spewing negativity and fear as if the entire rebuild is crashing down, all from a season and a game where we clearly overachieved. You sound like one of those people who like to sound smart and say I told you so any chance you get. I bet the first off game tua has you will be there to say “see hes bad, tank for Trevor”. You just one of those guys that like to sound right all the time so they call out anything bad and think it makes them a football genius. Rams should have traded Goff and fired Mcvey last season too if it was up to you.

@J true! Also the new defensive coordinator needs to tighten up. We are a man to man defense. The coordinator shouldn’t never played zone. The coordinator did a bad job because he never adjusted to Cam running up the middle and hitting the edges. We should of kept the other dc. He would of did way better than what this dude did. Especially with the talent we have on defense.

Offensive play calling was way too conservative, are previous offensive coordinator might have been complicated but he at least had some creativity. The coaching hiring decisions were not well thought out.

Yeah the run defense wasn’t great but let’s be honest, if we had good QB play we would’ve won. This loss is on Fitz

There’s much to like about these dolphins . From what I seen today , I really believe that the dolphins will defeat the Bills next week . If there is such a thing as a good lost this game epitomizes such , the dolphins played good in defeat .
Hat’s off to the entire team as well as the coaching staff the effort was there ,the rookies played a helluva game . I wish the outcome was different but when all things are considered and taken into account we won today . The rebuild is ahead of schedule . My God Preston Williams looked good today going against Gilmore , jakeem Grant had Gilmore beat deep but Fitzpatrick didn’t see him and what about the play of Austin Jackson , Solomon Kindsley , Erick Flowers , Myles Gaskins and Brandon Jones , each one of them had moment’s of brilliance . If what I saw today is an indication of what to come from these players ,dolpfans are in for a treat .

Terry Holmes very true what you’re saying, and also could be a matter of time before Tua comes on if Fitzpatrick keeps playing bad like this. But it’s good that he’s sitting behind Fitz and learning because he doesn’t have to play this year. I’d save him for the last game or 2. Just like they did with Mahomes and now look at him. O Line looked so much better was looking for that today and I was happy to see they did really good. But we have to fix the run defense and the referees made critical bad calls it was really bad. @flavio demoura it was good to see coach Flores not blame the officiating for the lost in his post game interview . The final score doesn’t reveal what really happened in this game .
Aside from the interceptions , Fitzpatrick was tremendous . The last drive felt like deja Vu . We had them nervous .

We can’t start Tua because he’s a rookie and we don’t want him to get injured we might have to give him a year to rest Vince it’s just the first game it’s revenge for him beating the patriots in New England last year let’s do better and fitz can hopefully avoid turnovers and can do better at home against the bills next week we need to do better on run defense next week hopefully fitz and the offense and defense can rebound vs the bills
