The penalties really need to stop, it’s the only thing holding us back.
The defense seems to have stepped up their game. I think one way the offense can get turned around is to get Bevell to change the play calling to more conventional, safer plays for now. Yeah, Trevor can make some pretty throws but he’s not a seasoned Vet. Bevell needs to call running plays more and not rely on Trevor’s arm so much. Let him develop gradually. Also, even though it wasn’t done in this game, they need to stop going for it on 4th down if it’s early on in a game. It’s better to punt the ball away and back your opponent up instead of giving them great field position. Plus the WR’s have got to start being accountable for not catching the ball. They are Pros now – no excuse for many of these dropped passes . If they can’t get the job done, hire somebody else. These dropped passes are not good for a rookie QB’s confidence. I don’t know if it’s just me but this is a lot of what I see is wrong with the offense right now.
Urban is all about his locker room. The football field is what matters. While they may work hard. They are not the hardest workers of the NFL.

Myself I’d much prefer Trevor to have a slow start anc not be oh so fantastic in his rookie year ! . Trevor will be a phenomenal QB , we as fans must be faithful, and I’m dam excited as hell love this team everything Meyer is fantastic coach fantastic and I believe. Go jags
