@Dove. sure he is… we’ll have him for the next 2-3 years but eventually we gotta move on to the future and this kid shows some potential
I think they got him not just to take over if Rodgers does decide or gets let go after his contract is up but also in case Rodgers gets injured during the season. Every time Rodgers has gotten hurt we’ve never had a back up that could keep us in the playoff picture. Maybe they got him to sit amd wait. Maybe they are gunna let Rodgers go after his contract is up in 3 years. Maybe he will turn into a trade for next year’s draft or free agency…bcuz since there’s still 3 whole years on Rodgers contract and hes still playing at a very high level who knows what they were really thinking by trading up for him. Rodgers has said many times he believes he can play at a high level into his 40’s and wants to retire as a packer. He loves the fans. You won’t find another QB as dedicated or invested into a team and their fans as Aaron so I have no clue what’s going on anymore.
Then what if he comes in and starts winning games when he’s out do we stick with him? This will get interesting if Rodgers does get hurt if despite Rodgers cap if the organization decides to stick with Love if he comes in and wins games.
Can’t wait to watch him on the field in 2024

He’ll be playing by 2022. 2023 the latest. They didn’t draft this guy in the 1st round to not have him play a single year of his rookie contract.

I highly doubt it . Rodgers is not going to quit football on this timetable . This was a confusing pick but when you look at the rest of this draft class it really fits . To draft like this had to create as many question marks as it could .

the timing was bad the team needs a impact 1st round player to win a SB this season after 1 game away last year to SB. they could wait another DEVELOPING QB next year. i would like to see rodgers ask for a trade and go to a team that has some weapon to win a SB this season bcoz he deserve it. i hope this situation not affect the locker room like MJ vs KRAUSE situation. LOL
I think Gutey really likes Jordan Love, and other than Trevor Lawrence, may not see anyone in the next few years he liked as much as Love. Highly doubt the Pack gets Lawrence, but you never know! A lot of teams will be after him.

Who knows what the future holds for Green Bay, whether Jordan Love is gonna eventually replace Aaron Rodgers when he retires, or is, in a way, “insurance”. Number 12 has been cerying this franchise for 13 years, and the Packers have taken him for granted. We have THE BEST QB IN THE LEAGUE, and we still dont help him with weapons. I rrally hope they know what theyre doing. Because Aaron is still in his prime and wont slow down anytime soon. Our 26th pick is very talented, and given his 3 year pattern due to constant staff and player changes, its understandable to an extent with the higher interception rate, but he’s gifted and talented AF and i see him being a long term starter whether it be here or somewhere lighting up the league. We’ll see what happens. GO PACK GO! 🇺🇸🏈🧀
