I like hearing all the different viewpoints, but I sure wish that they would allow each other to express their viewpoint without the constant interruptions. Writers, just like teams also have “off-days” when they “poop” the sheets. Not sure why writers are so critical of teams when one looks at them and realize that they are not brining their “A game” to the show. Steve Dennis in my opinion was the best host for this show!!! The current host….meh, most of the time. He has his moments, but his over the top introductions and then him allowing the show to devolve are strikes against him. Thank goodness for the fast forwarding feature. The bearded guy walking in did not offer anything to this show other than break the rhythm of the show. Other than that, I love the show.

“Relatively healthy” is relative, especially if one loses two starting CBs or if two injuries (OL – Steele and Tyler B.) cause a complete shifting of the unit.

Should the Cowboys lose against the Bucs, the questioning will begin again and like most fans (mid-1960s Cowboys fan) I would “not care” about next season’s regular season record, because the team supposedly has the talent to reach the playoffs, so the real question then becomes how far are they able to advance in the playoffs. A one and done this season, dependent on how they lose, should almost be an automatic firing of MM, KM and DQ. MM, during last year’s playoff game remarked that the team was/seemed “nervous”, well step in and do something to at least try to change the mood. That is what leaders are paid to do!! KM, an average to good OC, with occasional very good series/games, but sometimes he tries to get too cute or is not “hard” enough on Dak! He is too close to Dak. Dak might need a Parcells type coach or at least Kitna. DQ in my viewpoint still has too much of the 28-3 (SB lead loss) taint going for him as well as the second half defense “swoon”. Bones, no issues with him although STs against the Cdrs, was definitely not good, bot overall his body of work is much better than the other three.

Just have to comment on CJ comments that the reason for lack of sacks is b/c we don’t have anyone special in the middle. He disagreed with experts which was already funny, but more so, he made no sense as he forgot those are the same interior defenders when the sacks were flying off the shelf. Something has definitely changed and there are facts that the approach of getting rid of the ball quickly and mobility of the QB. CJ you are wrong as usual. Lastly, to speak that Tyron is a shell of himself, and it doesn’t matter if he’s at left, or right is disrespectful to the position and the lack of continuity. IT MATTERS! Have you ever played football or any organized sport? It appears not, and if you did, I guess you were below average like most when you call a future HOF a shell of himself and use Steele as a compass. STOP IT!

Those back to back throws from Dak is like Switzer calling the same play back to back and the Cowboys getting stopped both times on 4th down.

I do not agree with drafting a QB every year, but there are some years, whereby IF a QB falls down to the 2nd round, then the Cowboys should draft the QB. I have never been a fan of how the Cowboys, over many years, devalued their second round pick by picking injured or players with issues, so if they are not going to have a change of philosopy, then why not use it on a QB.

Adding more to my earlier comment about the team being “nervous” before the start of last year’s playoff game against SF, Clarence HIll is 1000% CORRECT! MM should have done something!! And to the question posed to CH, reference what should MM have done, CH is correct, “Do something!!!! Anything, but don’t let your team walkout onto the field feeling that way!! Last year’s playoff game and this past Cdr game as well as MM’s weak (for the number of years he has served as coach) game situational awareness ust tells me that MM doesn’t get it and should the Cowboys not win at least two to three playoff games, then in my viewpoint it is time to loook for another coach. And move on from KM and I would also move on from DQ. As to who would replace them, exactly, where does one even begin…..Sean P., would be my choice, but I am definitely not crazy about giving up draft picks. MAYBE, dependent on how the Bucs and playoffs go, then they keep MM one more season knowing that Sean P’s contract is up in 2024 and the Cowboys go that direction.
