As long as the o-line protects matt he can make the right decisions..he is a weapon for sure..but when your o-line just lets guys through it doesnt give you time to make the right throw at the right time…matt will get us where we need to be…and for whoever is doubting this guy, he has proven himself over the years or else the rams wouldnt have went out and got him…have faith!!!
@Michael Armenta it’s not that the protection is not perfect, it’s that it’s non existent. He got sacked 6 times versus the cards, and hit about a thousand times. The Rams offensive line is terrible, no body could do well behind that line.
@mark lemus most of them are. The Rams oline is letting free rushers through every play. And a couple of this ints are because of guys running the wrong routes, or having the ball bounce off their hands. A couple examples of it being the receivers fault can be found in Higbee failing to catch the ball and having it bounce to a 49ers defender in their first matchup, or OBJ stopping midroute in the first matchup versus the 49ers, there are others those are just ones that stand out as terrible plays by Rams receivers. But like I said most of them are because the Rams would be better off with children in their oline than who they have.

@That Boy it’s top 3 at the least. Mahomes and rodgers are the only two I’ve seen that are in the same tier
@timothybredernitz Josh Allen and Justin Herbert also can throw farther than the current Stafford.
@That Boy lol ok fine whatever, point being he’s got one of the strongest arms in the league. The difference between them is negligible in comparison…. one guy throws 70 the other throws 72 and the other 73

Don’t forget that he took them down the field in the 4th to win the game and both coach and Defense let the team down by giving up 88 yards under 2 min. Especially Ramsey giving up over 60 of those yards on two plays!
There’s a lot of Stafford bashing and it seems like his playmaking that’s won numerous games for us gets lost in that. The game against niners an example, D couldn’t stop that tying drive and McVay’s play calling was suspect to say the least prior to that.
