@Souless Shadow that never works. Every DC in the league would know exactly what’s happening any time Sam steps in there. There aren’t too many teams out there that can use 2 QB’s effectively.

@James Brockett I mean I saw the interview maybe u didnt? He was specifically asked twice I believe if Matt wasnt hurt would he still be starting and he did not answer the question. He said something along the lines of “Well he is hurt, so Sam will start”.

RIGHT after that. “Is the plan for Sam to be the starter for the rest of the season?” Reich. “Yes, that is the plan going forward” reporter, “I just want to clarify, was this made regardless of Matt’s shoulder situation, was this going to be the move whether he was healthy or not?” Reich “that is true. Yeah, we were gonna. The shoulder injury is real, but this move, this move was gonna be made uh either way.”

I hate the love affair people have with a 6th rounder who was never drafted to be a starter. The later rounds are for adding depth. Now, he may be an above average backup, but we’ve already witnessed first hand that his preseason success wasn’t indicative of what he could do against starters. I honestly wish Sam the best, and think that it would be great if he were the next Tom Brady, but there’s a reason that Tom Brady’s story is so special. It’s special because it is essentially never the case.

So this is the 2nd game this season where Ryan wasn’t under constant pressure all game. Had a relatively clean pocket for most of the game. The result: 222 yards 2 total TD’s 21/28 with no picks, no fumbles and most importantly he got the win in both games.
So what does this mean? If the O-line can provide a little protection, this offense is going to be tough to stop and Matt Ryan should be our starter the rest of the way.

But benching you over coaching and O-line issues. Wasnt on you. You got hurt over folks not doing their job. No disrespect to those guys for sure. But. Ya see it.
Matt Had time to throw most of the day and he delivered. Taylor definitely delivered as well. It’s amazing what this offense can do when the OL gets cleaned up. Awesome game to watch after a crazy week. Saturday and Parks Frazier brought the energy and game plan. Stick with Matt Ryan and stay committed to the run game
