Sam Darnold has to go ASAP.
The truth is there is nobody on this roster that can play QB better than Sam Darnold. PJ Walker is a backup for a reason and the trade deadline has passed. As we all can see, after a 3-0 start, the Panthers have settled into the mean. This is our team like it or not.
@John Daniels PJ is better than Sam he never had a real shot.Pj could have has a real shot today since he practiced with first team all week but rule blew it.
@Stephane Jerome No he is not. Not even close actually. PJ Walker vs NYG, 3 of 14 passing for 33 yards. He was sacked 3 times and had 1 run that didn’t end in a sack for 13 yards. In that same game Darnold finished with a QBR of 57.4, PJ Walker finished with a 39.6 rating. He is NOT better. If Walker comes in we will still have a terrible offense. Makes no difference.

@BenjiTheShooter I would like to know what you guys think you see. PJ Walker has a career NFL rating of 42. His completion percentage is under 50, just like Darnold. He has 1 TD and 5 Ints. It’s not like the Panthers have a Kurt Warner on our roster just waiting for an opportunity to take the team to the Super Bowl.
This is sad we have all this talent on the team but can’t win because of our qb,joe Brady,and Matt Rhule

@Terrence Tate the QB isn’t changing what he does….Matt Thule can’t FORCE him to do what he needs to do, he can only try to help him do what he needs to do to the best of his ability….Sam is showing he’s not capable of the job.

I don’t know why Carolina made the trade for Darnold. He has been a turnover machine ALL through college and all the time he was with the Jets. That’s his history — Trurnovers.

I honestly think it’s Sam. He misses wide open guys and throws it to the covered guy. It isn’t Joe Brady. Sam Darnold will make any coach look bad. Period. Panthers will unfortunately start a different QB next season.
@Mr. Friend and Company LLC yeah and it’s getting hard to watch. This past Sunday was down right dreadful offensively. It’s a shame too, because we have a defense that would be better with just an average offense, hence our 3-0 start.
Sit Sam this upcoming game and start PJ. Just give it a shot and see if anything changes!

Embarrassed to be a fan right now. Defense plays their asses off just to have the incompetent Joe Brady call a crappy game while Sam and the offensive line are atrocious. We aren’t gonna be keeping key players on defense if this keeps up. Tepper is a business man, so I don’t see this moving on for much longer.

Offensive coordinator is stifled by talent, you can’t call plays the QB isn’t capable of executing. Sam can’t read a defense, can’t scan the field, and can’t pull the trigger. The Offensive line isn’t great, but they’re playing better this year than last year sam has had exponentially more time compared to Teddy last year.
@FluffeyPanda’s World he’s used to having top flight talent at every position while playing against 2 maybe 3 good teams. Dude had Burrow, Chase, TMJ, Justin Jefferson, Clyde and an immovable offensive line. Easy to keep calling the same play over and over when it works every time.

Our season is over! Mac Jones came to our stadium and pimp slapped us!!! WOW! But I’m not surprised the way we been playing! CMC was a non-factor! In 3 of the last games we only had one TD! One!!! Unbelievable!!!!
