If you miss touchdown after touchdown in the red zone, you are going to have issues against a challenging team. We also gave Nick Foles a free pass and most of the game he was not threatened. Teddy had pressure almost every play, Nick Foles almost none.
Hell nah your pass rush was getting on Foles all day he got hit 9 times and pressured every other play only because you didn’t have sacks don’t mean you guys had no pass rush

Facts! Our mistakes and penalties. DJ and his drops. The O linemen seemed weak and not holding quite long enough for Teddy to find a good read. We’ll shake this off and be ready to eat again come Sunday when we get to the SuperDome.
Chicago scored on the first interception and the fumble from Mike Davis. It would have been possible Panthers could have won by if those mistakes never happened.

@Chase Floyd agreed. We had enough time for a Cardiac Cats rally to at the very least tie the game. The defense did their part to hold Chicago off on that last drive and we failed on offense. It stung.
Add the missed FG. this could have been completely different game if not for self inflicted errors.
Bad teams lose games they should win. Good teams are competitive when they have no business being so and Great teams overcome and find a way to win. This Panthers team is a good team trending towards great rather than bad.
@Besus I can’t even be mad at Joey this time tho, as a kicker and as a punter Joey has carried our team just as CMC has at times. Charlton kicks sideways so dang often Joey is having to do twice as much work. And the game wouldn’t have been on his shoulders so much if we’d capitalize in the red and not count one one man and one leg to pull us along.
@Brandi K I’m not mad at him either. I just wanted to point out that this team loses due to mistakes it makes itself. The bad passes, missed fg, penalties, ball security when running all these things are what led to a 7 point loss, just 7 points is incredible if you ask me. I’m proud of how tough this team is, a Rivera led team loses by at least 17 yesterday.
CMC could have played today but he will play at the saints 🐾⬆️

Coming back right when we need him most too. We found out today that a strong defensive front can stop Mike Davis short, where C-Mac could’ve squeezed in between tackles, or make someone miss I’m the open field. Can’t wait for some double trouble!

I’ll be the first one to say we made mistakes today but can we talk about the god awful refs?! All last year I was pulling my hair out over these bums…first 4 games maybe a bad call here and there….today boi I saw 3 or 4 game changing calls go in chicago’s favor. Sus

It was a close game in the end; defense looked pretty good honestly and the offense struggled going up against an elite level D in Chicago. Can’t expect to go out and dominate teams when so much has changed and still needs to be learned in the process of this team evolving only 6 games from Square 1. There were struggles against a very physical team and that’s just how it is some times. I appreciated a lot of what the D did for us and they seem to be coming along nicely.

Bruh it’s all good, soooo much football left to play. Got off to a bad start yesterday but that’s the game we love. Turnovers, dropped passes. Not to mention some key injuries in CMC and SAMUEL. But hey, The key is to learn from it, make the adjustments and keep grinding💯💪
