I’m so tired of hearing him make excuses for his horrible decision making and the terrible play calling on both offense and defense! Take accountability Coach or hit the road!
Play calling wasn’t that bad??? MC was very ineffective. 1st play he left them 3rd and 15, second he left them 2nd and 12. He wasn’t getting the protection and when he did it was from a hold. They tried to establish the pass first. Made sense but Bake got passes knocked down, penalties and even a delay of game. It was just an offense learning to work together, a very determined and talented defense working against them and some mistakes cues. Play calling was fine. Cut Rhule a break. He is a decent coach, without tons of talent and a very new team. Cut him and Baker a break and u might have a winning season.
@riderpride89 McAdoo was not the issue, its Phil Snow and that defense.
@Dustin Barlow the defence will be fine, their a bit inconsistent but that’s expected with how young they are. McAdoo was a problem in the first quarter but adjusted after half
When the players line up in the wrong spot or a qb has trouble with snaps that tells you this team is undisciplined and that falls on the coaches.
@James_s550 Watched Warner Ball, a lot of those fumbles Baker had were on Elflein not snapping the ball correctly.
He always sounds like a Pop Warner coach playing for that participation trophy instead of being like Tomlin and Ariens expressing their frustration for not playing well and placing the lost on themselves as well! Sorry Panther Nation but we’ll never show any fight or “teeth” if our coaches are still drinking “milk from a saucer”!!!

Maybe the panthers fan thought that they would go undefeated, however they have a good team… The fourth quarter was impressive and something to be happy about….

As a browns fan, knowing my teams roster, I really expected you guys to give us a steady dose of run game early to set the tone. We are soft up the middle and amazing sideline to sideline, foreman and cmc could have gauged us.
We have 3 significant guys on our front 7 and then a bunch of jags, our secondary is loaded with quality players…. So many that we can take probably 2-3 injuries in our CB room alone and still put a quality starter on the field…. Clowney Garrett and JOK are amazing. All play outside. There was ground to be gained in the running game between the tackles…. And if you can get Garrett overpursueing for sacks, you can hurt him in the run game….
So of course you guys decided to only run the ball like twice in the first almost 20 plays…. Because what better way to go after a team when you have a new quarterback who just split reps all preseason due to a qb competition, than attack them directly at their strength….

Baker had the Browns begging for Mercy the entire 2nd half, and we go conservative? I didnt get it either! We Score on four straight possessions then decide to run the ball after we get the lead?
@Dustin Barlow Absolutely Dustin!! I’m actually still in disbelief. That game was taken from us on so many levels…but the worst part was that our own coach took it from us. I just hope this crap doesn’t happen again

Why is everything poor something on the players and never the coaches. There were clear horrible play calls made throughout the game and poor clock management in the end.
I love hearing that we’re gonna play more fast/no-huddle offense. Once more of the timing bugs are worked out and some chemistry starts to show up, this will suit Baker beautifully. He’s a very “in the moment”, smart, high energy, quick thinking guy.
Lol great our gassed run d gets to be even more gassed as the other team has 40 mins to our 20 mins of ball control. Fucking stupid.

@dan legend Our Run defense is garbage even when it isnt gassed! The reason you go fast is so you get more possessions, which also keeps the defense off the field. Its what Kansas City Does.
We literally was passing the hall to get more flow and chemistry with what we need baker getting synced we know what cmc can do and we’re not rushing him it’s week one relax
Let’s see how the next few games go. Last year was 3 straight wins and then complete sanitation. I’ll accept some early losses if there is continual improvement.
