That’s BS. Your horrible play calling buries Mitch every time. He was 4th in the NFL in completion percentage on play action passes that involve him scrambling out of the pocket. And you know he’s got the legs to turn 3 yard losses into 7 yard gains. You’re supposed to acknowledge these things as the coach and call plays that strengthen those things instead of stymieing them. You’re just not doing it. Then you come out in press conferences and go: “He’s not getting the job done”. Gee. I wonder why. Nick has equal the number of INT to TD in his 6 starts and is 2-3. And the offense is the same as it was when you were ordering a running QB to throw the ball like you think he’s Tom Brady when he’s not. 29th overall out of 32. Time to use the QB scrambles and play action passes that you have seen them work to perfection in the past that you simply choose not to use. Time to suck it up and actually call plays properly. We don’t want a coach in Chicago that treats our #2 overall pick that was traded up to be drafted in this manner.
