The fact that he continues to give Leno props has me 100% convinced that this guy values character over actually being able to do the job on the field. Who cares how good a guy Leno is if he sucks at LT?
Jociah he stepped down from playcalling? He made changes in the offensive line? He benched Mitch because he wasn’t playing well?
@Matthew Caro the changes were from injury. hes never taken out leno, or jp holts, or anthony Miller or anyone else for not blocking well. if you haven’t watched “the tape never lies” on YouTube for a breakdown of each game, you’re missing out on what actually happens each play.
@Matthew Caro him giving up play calling was a miracle though. thought he would be too proud too. mitch shouldn’t have been benched, or at least he should have been brought back faster because foles made the exact same interceptions but nagy never switched to mitch til he was forced too (after the injury)
That just shows he is a good coach. Why tf would the head coach say his players suck tf you want to motivate them to play better
@raul lopez CL got his money a few years back and has been resting on his laurels since. His play has declined, he looks out of shape and can barely stay on his feet half the time. This is PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL. This level shouldn’t require ra-ra positive reinforcement and participation awards. He should be held accountable just like Mitch, just like Ant Mill, just like Wims: All guys who the coach has no problems calling out to “be better” but the worst player on Offense the last few years gets the biggest pass ever. Not a word has ever been said about this guy Leno. Why?
Coach professes to watching all this tape every week but misses Leno somehow someway.

Matt Nagy in less than 3 years: 27 wins. Marc Trestman and John Fox in FIVE years: 27 wins. Let’s start being thankful for a head coach that has had quite a lot of success here in Chicago. Yes he irritates me at times but you can’t deny the culture that he instilled in our team the first day he walked in here. I’m a believer in him even though it’s an unpopular opinion
