It seems that half the fanbase thinks “the Fam” are all cheap bastards (like old George S. Halas actually was) or that the organization is completely detached from reality and burning million after millions of dollars.
So the question is: Will any of those divergent views survive the 2022-23 Chicago Bears winning the NFC Championship? Or has the complaining become the favorite part of the process? Because once Matt Nagy and his inept staff.are replaced, better days are coming.
It’s consistently not good enough on all levels of the organisation. I can’t stand the soft attitude though. Can’t roll over against GB next week.

He was a fraud from tbe beginning, i said this back when he was originally hired, very limited experience at OC and when he was presented with his first major test against lowly titans in 2017 the joker nagy failed in the playoffs with a horrible loss 21-22.

we can blame this man all we want but at the end of the day this franchise has been a dysfunctional mess for like 50 years now. we’ve had a couple outlier years of winning but it’s been mostly mediocrity in the super bowl era. it sucks to admit it but it is what it is. majority of this team’s success comes from the 40s other than that we’re basically the bengals. we’ll be doing the same thing with the next coach after a while too, the cycle is gonna continue until top to bottom changes happen

“Bill’s calling all the plays and I have input.” He always has to get in the way. You can tell when he calls plays. They’ll run a play that works really well and the next play they’ll lose a yard….or three. And it’s at that moment, you know it was a Nagy play.

Once Nagy (and staff) are replaced, I expect this roster (minus the dead weight and plus a few Pace “draft gems”) to contend, immediately.

I believe Nagy’s inept play design and utilization of the wrong personnel is the problem. His use of J.P. Holtz is a personification of issue.
@Matteo Watteo I’ll give you a little credit on the talent, but the real issue is the coaching staff’s inability to scheme to the strengths of our roster. Hence utilizing roll outs, moving pockets, etc for Fields rather than having him being static in the pocket.

Because the scheme is the goal. Moving the ball getting first downs and scoring touchdowns is not the goal of the Nagy scheme. If its 2nd and 8 the pass will go 5 yards because that is what the scheme dictates. No one on the Navy ship of. Coaching incompetents s saying we are aiming to get a first down on that play. They are thinking they will get 5 yards on 2nd down and get another 5 yards on 3rd down
Nagy has been doing that continuously, since the “double-doink” game — and blaming it on Trubisky!
Every week Nagy credits the opposite team for a great job. I wonder if the other coach thanks Nagy for the shitty job so they could get the win.

I would like my coach to have the style of Lombardi, Parcels, Sean Payton. Someone who wants the best out of his players and makes them accountable. Takes no bs and is brutally honest. Also, he should be detailed orientated about his plan makes in game adjustments.

You know, yes the 4 pass interceptions lost the game.
Everyone was saying that the key to us winning was to run the ball.
That was the part of Arizonas
defense that was the weakest, and besides the first half was in a
rain storm.
So what do we do, we pass 41 times and Arizona passes 15 times. We run, I believe 20 or 21
times, so we passed twice as much as we run. We passed almost 3 times as much as Arizona, and Arizona had 11 more points. Maybe Nagy should of passed 50 times and maybe we could have had 5 or 6 interceptions.
Da Bears need to do what Da Bulls did. Clean house Phillips, Pace, Nagy and bring in people who know what the hell they’re doing. Clearly none of those named do. If McCaskey’s are afraid of firing Phillips move him into strictly business operations fire Pace, Nagy then bring in competent replacements. Otherwise I fear Virginia will not see her father’s pride and joy Da Bears make a playoff game before she joins him.
