It might just be he hit his ceiling. He’s had time. 4 years to be exact. I don’t expect him to be Peyton Manning but I do expect him to stop with the rookie mistakes and being inaccurate. But I really did hope he was the future for us at the QB position. But sometimes someone’s best is not the best for a team.
13 total college starts…he should’ve been a 2-3 year backup at the least. You had QB who check ALL the boxes and had the experience in Watson. Pace whiffed
Your right,it is paces fault. Mitch should never have been a first round pick. If he got picked up in the second round nobody would be talking about what a failure he is. Pace set him up for disaster…never should have gotten drafted in the first round

Nagy failed him and so did Pace.
Nagy has some real issues if Nick doesn’t do well. He was almost fired last night and was 1 lucky missed interception away from being on a very thin leash. Nagy steers us clear from winning games and hasn’t proved any type of run game.

One of his best players was lost for the season, and while it probably is the better decision to roll with Nick, I’m sure it was really hard for Nagy to tell Mitch he was getting benched as a person rather than as the coach.

I like Foles holding down the QB fort until the Bears draft a new one. Mitch is a really good guy and I hope he finds success elsewhere but it’s likely not in Chicago
