All negativity aside, the future is bright. Lot of young talent and we have some money to spend this offseason. Hoping we can make the right decision on who our next head coach will be.

Nice guy and all that but it just sounds so phony to me. Personally I can’t stand “only look at the positive” type personalities when it comes to leadership positions. Leaders need to be able to address the negative aspects of themselves and their team.

@James Jones Pace did Nagy’s bidding, which is what he should do; i.e. get the type of players coach asks for, Nagy will reap what he sowed.

@Evilwestsidefan every team in the league passed on Trubisky to be a starter. He settled for a 2.5 million deal as most teams even passed on that small deal for him to be a backup. That says all you need to know about how much of a horrific bust he was. Pace traded away 4 picks in order to waste the #2 overall. They ended up with nothing for him, he sucked man. That historic bust was taken before Nagy arrived, he had zero to do with it. The fact he made 2 postseason’s with such a pathetic QB is amazing.
@James Jones the guy took us to the playoffs twice and is a pro bowler so no he was not a bust, but you are entitled to your opinion regardless it being wrong.

Glad for coach Nagy. He’s very likely gone after these last 2 games but he’s a good man and shown his professionalism. He just has not been a good enough football coach over the last 4 years here in Chicago. I wish him the best and hold nothing against him personally.

I’m going to ask you a simple question, to which a truthful answer will surprise you: “Who’s real-world future life would select, if you were forced to make the choice ,today: Mitchell Trubisky or Deshaun Watson’s?”
But, before you answer, consider this little comparison:
During their last two years together (2019-20) QBs Mitchell Trubisky and Deshaun.Watson, along with their WRs, Alen Robinson II and DeAndre Hopkins put up stats that were virtually identical (targets, receptions, yards and TDs). These statistical similatlies seem to be lost on the typical “fanboy” who seems to believe Watson is quite clearly the more “accurate” and therefore the “better” QB.

@Thomas Gena Mitchell. Are we talking about football anymore? Sounds like you have an avoidance coping problem. You are comparing two other players, guy. It would be better to just compare Watson vs Trubisky head to head stats, had to pass to other people as well as well. Mitchell was proven to be one of the biggest busts in the last decade, he’s now a backup for a reason. There will be teams willing to give up a 1st round pick for Watson at least.

I am not okay with you putting Germain Ifedi over Larry Borom today. At least have him develop. And why give Ifedi and Cairo Santos the Captain patch. Roquan and Montgomery are the two only people who deserves that patch.
