You have to take a QB. If Smith is as good as people are expecting you won’t be picking this high again. A QB extends the timeline for another 12 years or more. The draft is strong in QBs and weak on the where we need the most help, defense. It would typical falcons to screw this luck up. If Matt Ryan is still playing well in 2 years when the drafted QB is ready to play then you can get some value for Matt. Don’t screw this up!

You have to get a QB now! I dont believe and this is my opinion. I dont know what he does. But I dont think Matt puts the time into his body and the regimen Brady does. I think the class is too good to pass on a QB at pick 4.

So y’all are expecting the 3rd or 4th rated qb this year to become the 9th ranked qb in nfl history, mvp, and franchise qb immediately? Lets see how many sb we win with no defense and no rb. Contrary to popular belief, ryan doesn’t play ol, dl, rb, db, special teams, all of which are a dark abyss that has lost most of our games. Add to that, probably the most inept coaching in the league. Sure, fields or wilson will save us and assure x number of sb. Get real!!!!

    You do realize that salary negotiations would be due your new qb after 3 years and after never playing a starting snap.

    We lost 8 games last season after taking a lead into the 4th qtr. So it stands to reason then that ryan cannot produce a run game to run the clock out, or cover recievers, or generate pass rush in obvious passing situations….yeah, he’s the problem.
