Matt LaFleur: ‘We’re gonna find out a lot about ourselves moving forward’ – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
john broderick

This team shows up EVERY week like they didnt practice at all. Like they didnt watch tape. Show up totally uninspired…. Completely unacceptable for a team of this caliber.

    john broderick

@Absolute Death Uhhhh, no. Losing 3 games a year to 3 games out of 6, against this caliber of opponent is not even close to the same

    john broderick

@Patrick Mccaskill They have several all-pro talents. problem is they’re hurt or not being used.

    Oohhse Da God

    Team of this caliber? 🤔

    Brady Kaynee

It is like JaMarcus Russell is coaching the team.

    Erick H

@Nick Etten They never could figure out those defensive line stunts that’s coaching Saving grace it’s still relatively early 6 games and I don’t care about the record at this point just make the playoffs and play your best football coming down the stretch we’ve had great records and didn’t make the Super Bowl and I think we need to get a receiver from somebody before the trade deadline

senes

Complete masterclass from Robert saleh. Similar to when the 49ers destroyed the packers in 2020 playoffs.
Just simply outcoached

    Rock and Rolf

At this point every team knows Lafleaurs weakness, Robert Saleh knew what to do and he got it done.

    Doug Hensley

He’s constantly out-coached, his teams are never ready to play, the entire team has regressed this year. When he faces one of his friends or family members on the other sideline he gets humiliated.

    Rock and Rolf

@Doug Hensley yeap just like Kyle Shannahan their buddies too, and niners own them.

    jenny maddox

Wasn’t the coaches fault if the players don’t play.

    BERTRAND850

Lafleurs weakness is he can’t adjust. He doesn’t bring out the best in the team. Rodgers masked all his lack of adjustments

Garland H. Green Jr.

Disappointing, humbling. Yeah yeah. Give the “fill in the team name here” a ton of credit. Let’s remember McCarthy…. “We got to clean it up.” Out coached. Full stop!

Thrives in Chaos

Dude reminds me Vance Joseph “we had a great week of practice” 😂😂

    Dennis Maxwell

Those were the great words of McCarthy

Damon Cross

One thing I can say about the packers is everytime they play a physical team they get pushed around and punished.. they don’t have any urgency at all nobody to hold them accountable SOS.. miss the days of Charles Woodson Cullen Jenkins Nick Collins Ryan Pickett Clay Matthew’s because these packers have no heart at all

Jerad Jones

Id be calling Jody nelson and Greg Jennings and begging them to take a job to come in and teach these guys To ball with Rodge Like they did .

    John Kamperschroer

Jordy forsure Jennings would laugh at that

Jordan S

Love the classics, week after week how we didn’t do enough, need to clean up little things, we need to improve, etc. How many years as head coach and you can’t figure out why your offense isn’t working? Probably time for a leadership change then.

    Dennis Maxwell

He is sounding more and more like Mc muffin

    Blk21kt

Bro is just a handsome mike McCarthy

    Jordan S

@Blk21kt I wonder which one of them likes cheeseburgers and wings more, though…

Simeon Givens

This game is already what GB know about themselves.

Wisconsin Badgers Football

Lafleur needs to come up with another mindset for this team,or we are looking at being one of the worst teams this season.

Ladidadi

Hopefully Matt or somebody will see this
1: We have to sure up on tackles as a defense today we took a step forwad in scheme but backwards on the simple stuff like tackling and missing some interceptions/ stokes has to practice his ball skills he is a great corner but misses the big play to much because he is always in position but he just needs to be more aggressive to the ball but I understand he is trying to just make sure the receiver doesnt catch the ball
2. We have to use lazard to attack the middle matt has to use him way more in the slot and that will help doubs and the run game because those 2 are amazing wide recievers that block but using lazard in the slot along with tonyan together will gove aaron the safety blankets he needs to simply move the chains the big plays will come we have #12 but we’re missing to many chunk plays because these guys arent the best route runners but allen and tonyan in the middle would relieve pressure of them not being able to consistently(well most of the time) beat man. We have the weapons its just moving placing them were their A+ players on the field.( The chiefs ran a delay 2 back play in the first around the 6 min mark you guys should add in the playbook)
3: Dont change just add all the bad plays we’ve had have been player erros mostly not scheme its working just give it timenfor our guys to connect and that confidence should help the team.
4: The 5 best online have to be in the game at all time and its probably time to move Elton to RG
5: Lastly dont panic as a coach The big errors on defense were fixed this weak they mad simple mistakes that lead to big plays thats positive meaning the players can correct and adapt its better than the previous weaks when they just werent being used right especially this should be’ aggressive secondary… its was the first week in them playing in the defense they should be in more the small misses are fine but gb does probably have to tackle in practice more or something because these guys arm tackle and miss way to much
– a concerned fan who should be on the this coaching staff somehow

    Ben Christoit

    Thanks coach

    packers nation23

In reality what they need to fix so the offense looks a lil less embarassing is the offensive line Jenkins is not a RT and Royce Newman is not a starting RG you move Jenkins back to LG an slide Runyan to RG and plug in Yosh Nijman at RT you will see results in both the run game and the pass game but in order to have success with the run game they gotta atleast be willing to run it and they have not

Smitastic

The loss of Adams with no real replacement is clearly obvious. The defense can only hold so long, you have to hold the ball offensively and score.

Tim Henschel

How about a reporter asking why every single week on 3rd n 2 or 4th n 3 and they always throw a 25 yard jump ball instead of just getting the 2 yards!

Juan Ritz

“Proud of their effort” and “Battled until the end” Man, I really don’t know what game Matt was watching. Everyone in the stadium knew the Jets were going to run the ball in the fourth (and first, second, and third) and the defense completely failed to show up.

    Vande

Not only that on those Breece Hall touchdown runs it looked like the defense gave up and just let him in at times. I don’t see this effort he is referring to.

Matt ” we gotta give them a ton of credit” lafleur

cadottnews

Just go back and watch the press conference from his first loss because he says the same thing over and over again. He doesn’t make adjustments, he refuses to shuffle the offensive line, he hired Joe Barry, and if I hear him say “We have to run the ball more” I will eat my TV.

BERTRAND850

We’ve found out that you can’t coach when Rodgers and Adams aren’t dominating. Them 2 covered up your lack of coaching and play calling.

    jamar14eagles

I’ve been saying that since day 1 lol. Watch the Chiefs game from last year it’s totally evident without Rodgers he’s nothing. That’s why he was crying on a podium beginning Aaron to come back this past off-season 😂😂🦅

Lou DesLauriers

What is “fighting to the end” Is it preparing to the best of your ability? Is it executing? Is it playing smart? OR is it just trying hard? The O-Line was beaten to a pulp Rt, Guard is a HUGE issue. There has to be a change at Rt. Guard this week.

Jose Lopez-Arenivar

Lefleur looks like he’s way over his head. He was able to ride the smooth train for the last few years. But now when it comes to actually having to handle adversity, he looks rattled. That’s trickling down to his players and the cracks are starting to show

jimmylegs06

The one TD drive was bailed out by 2 penalties on NYJ
Jets settled for a FG when up 24-10.

This was a 31-3 game to a team whose QB threw for 110 yards.

Scott M

Lafleur instills no confidence. Anyone who remembers Mike Holmgren’s pressers knows that he commanded respect. He meant business. Holmgren always had answers. Knew what went wrong and identified areas that would get attention and corrected. And you knew that would happen. Not here.
