Special teams is the main consideration for players at that point in the depth chart. But on defense, Ty Summers is really bad. If the Packers needed to rely on him due to injuries it could be a big problem.

@Sammaywins Thats not necessarily true. They could decline the 5th year option and give him a longterm contract instead thats backloaded to maximize that cap space while Rodgers is still playing.

Literally the first thing I thought after the fumble is he’s done. Even he knew it was over for him. He went straight to the bench and looked defeated. You can’t turn it over in back to back weeks and have holding penalties.

I’ll admit I wasn’t sold on Jlove & I still have my reserves about him. I will say he is progressing and I can see that but he definitely still needs to gain more confidence in his decision-making but his play last night makes me see he’s heading in the right direction
Love is such a stiff, it defies recognition, I don’t even know what position he is playing. The guy is unable to create, and appears as this cookie cutter QB, and there has not been a pass yet; that would separate him from a gaggle of chimps in a cage playing whack o mo with a pigskin. He completes 50% of his passes in a exhibition game, this falls to 25% against actual competition, so those 100yds passing are a mere dribble. As a QB in the NFL, and picked in the first round, you are expected to make some throws; merely by accident. Love is an accident, and these chimps trying to pad his ego are just part n parcel to a package of spoiled fruit, luv is that fruit, but putting 10pts on the board is what gooty was looking for; when he made the pick. Just genius.

That was a horrible play to try to play hero on that snap. Couldve been a huge sack.
Love is a backup at this point. Last year he looked like an Arena League QB and now hes a legit mid to low tier backup. Consistency + Accuracy need to improve. If he doesnt improve significantly by next year, hes a bust but hes trending in right direction at least. Wait and See but very small chance hes a potential pro bowl caliber QB. Possible Top 20 QB seems like a rational ceiling at this point.
The third stringer has shown more in 5 plays than Love has shown in 3yrs, so its a hard decision.
Just remember the first 3-4 years of Aaron Rodgers as an NFL drafted Quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, namely the 24/7 abuse and hatred by the fans, including anonymous death threats he endured…

First time I loved what I seen from Jordan but his passing inaccuracy may have contributed to the drops passes to the wrong side of the receivers. Actually more excited for the third QB as he reminds me of Farve.
We have to keep Danny Ethling at least on the practice squad!
