Need better play-calling and smarter decisions, a way way better DC not Joe Barry (weak zone coverage, a better red end zone OC not Stenavich. Mainly the blame is on LaFleur for sticking with Barry and keeping Amari Rodgers as returner for most of the season!

I have to agree with this. This is what I was thinking while watching those red zone failures. The plays seemed too predictable. I think they missed Hackett more than they thought.
Whoever’s decision it was to go for it on 4th down at their own 34 is a complete idiot. You’re up by 3. You already stopped the lions offense. And you completely ruin the momentum

MLF gives up play calling to Hackett who’s brought back in at OC, retain Bisaccia at all costs including his guys (Leavitt and Nixon), fire Barry or demote, and interview Lovie Smith for DC. Stenovich can kick rocks or go to quality control of something.
Matt, if you don’t turn this around real quick, like starting next season in your Do or die games, you’re gonna turn into the coach who always gets out coached in his biggest games of the season You try to do too much early in the game you’re overthinking things Instead of letting the game come to you it’s a field position game When you’re playing playoff type football in my opinion But instead you go for an unnecessary 4th down in the 1st quarter from your own 30 what a dumb decision that got the lions on the board. PS Don’t let loyalty get the best of you Please change your defensive coordinator He is not that guy
Yep. A bad coach doesn’t have his team ready for the hit games. Year 4 of sloppy play in the big games. His time is up.
If lefleur made that call he’s questionable as a head coach. One of the stupidest calls I’ve ever seen in a playoff game

I kinda wished waston didn’t emerge this year like he did, because now they’ll use it as an excuse to go sign another sammy watkins instead of drafting a wr high up in the draft when they really need wr help, because frankly even if romeo doubs and samori toure improve before next year it wont impact the game like people think it will.
When was the last time we ran a screen pass? Short slants to Cobb? We threw away half of play calling and just did hero ball this entire year
Because we did slants etc so early in the season with 0 deep threat (be4 watson emerged) and teams played zones, man to man to literally cut it off as such by all the screens (rodgers was no1 in the nfl for the amount of pass % below 5 yards) and we didnt produce anything

Defense lost its nuts when rashan went downtown, and so did Joe Barry play calling. Jared Goff looked like a prime tom Brady in the pocket. Just sad the lambeau scare tactic is gone. I’m afraid we need better coaching.

Defense honeslty played better after he was out at times. Barry needs to go either way and we need fresh play calling on offense.
@EL34Glo agreed most definitely Joe failed bad though in situational scenarios like having deondre at the line against lions on the 4th and 1 play just trash or playing single high safety before half and letting Jared Goff throw a moon ball to get to the one yard line just garbage.
If your reason for keeping Joe Barry is the result of the last 5 games, you are going down the same exact road as last year from the performance vs. San Fran. The offseason we all thought this defense was going to be top 5 and never came close. I’m not going down that road until Barry is fired and a new DC comes in.

LayFloooour has to be the most clueless head coach in modern times; if there was anything approaching preparation and game planning for Detroit, it was not displayed on the field. I mean, what is Arodj doing, what is the offense doing, how can you be so massively inept in the red zone, but kicking field goals is fun and makes us all giddy to see ‘3’ points added to the tally. Just idiot play all the way around…we have seen it all before in triplicate, a mess of a franchise and a mess of a coach. But, this implosion will only result in more implosions and then, you will be gone…its great how these things are so predictable; just too bad nothing gets done and only misery follows.
Keeping Joe Berry sounds like bad head coaching, the play calling was a consistent issue all season not just play.
I love the Pack but so much room for improvement.We have some talent?It just really hasn’t been used.The same plays were used over and over even though they weren’t working.The expulsion is maybe a lack of maturity and control.That can be fixed.I say throw the play book away and start over,lol😟
Can’t play with a constantly aggravated broken thumb 2/3 of the season and expect to go to the playoffs. I don’t think that last go ball to Watson gets intercepted if Aaron is 100% healthy. He can’t blame the thumb because if he does everyone will say why didn’t you just sit? But I’m sure it was a big factor…

I have no trust in MLF moving forward. There are so many wrong decicions with coaches, players, playcalling etc. There are so many losses he could´ve learned from but didn´t.
I think he´d rather go down with his guys than make a change when needed.

Rogers back is sore from carrying this team for so long. I’d say the problems lye in the coaching staff from top to bottom
Every body can say nice things about Matt but the play calling killed it for me 4th and 1 and you do a end around play with Alan Lazard he is not the fastest wr and hate those shotgun draw run plays you got 2 talented rbs what happened to the traditional power I formation to go for it
Coaching can say we did poor job on this game too. 4th and 6 on they own 36 yard line your going for it. RECKLESS
Maybe they should step back and see how complimentary football teams are structured. How do we spank the vikings and lose at home to the lions..
