LaFleur needs to get a backbone and make it seem like OTAs are basically mandatory like McCarthy did. McCarthy had near 100% attendence at OTAs. Because he made the players understand how important it is for them to be there. LaFleur stands there and acts like he can’t be firm to the players and make it known that those that don’t attend are hurting the team. Yes, it’s voluntary in the CBA, but you as the head coach can make it known that you personally are disappointed in those that don’t attend. LaFleur refuses to do that and thus the Packers have the lowest OTA attendence in the league now.
I find it embarrassing.
Im not embarrassed or concerned. I think the only ones who care is the media. Other than that, there’s nothing really to talk about until actual training camp.
