Should have got it last year
13-3 for the second year straight, hosting nfc championship game, calling plays and putting up almost 500 yards on the #1 defense. There is no question in my mind he is coach of the year
@FRAYNETRAIN Should be Stefanski. MLF took a great team from last year and kept them great this year. Stefanski took a bottom of the barrel, punching bag team that’s been trash for years, and took them all the way to the divisional round (so far), constantly shutting up haters. Stefanski deserves it

Imagine if McCarthy was the coach heading into tonight. Rodgers probably would have had 50 passing attempts running for his life all day and Jones and Williams would have never gotten those carries. Absolutely blessed to have this man as the Packers coach. Coach of the year.
Yeah, the right decision was made, getting with the times takes a tough decision or two. I will say this, I have nothing but love for Mike. Aaron Rodgers may not be the Aaron Rodgers we know had he not been exposed to Mike Mccarthy and crew coming out of cal.

@Philip Loughlin No doubt, and injuries is a non factor considering the best left tackle in the game is out so mitigate the Rams injuries. It was not as close as the score, we were in complete control. AFC game, would rather face the Bucs – something to prove and make right (the Week 6 loss)

It’s too bad he won’t get the credit he deserves. Having Rodgers at QB is always going to come up when talking about coach of the year. Just look at that last season between Rodgers and Mcarthy and compare it to Matt’s first 2 seasons with many of the same players. We all know what’s up, well done coach!
He’ll get his real credit when Jordan Love takes over and plays well. Hopefully that’s not for a while.
