@Nathan Imhoff Bite your tongue. Mccarthy currently has a 4-1 record with Cooper Rush starting at qb. Mccarthy was never the problem. Rodgers was and still is. Notice the current offense looks almost identicle to the pathetic offense Mccarthy got blamed for at the end of his tenure in Green Bay. It was all just Rodgers playing hero ball. Mccarthy has won 140 games, a super bowl, took Rodgers from a deer in the headlights rookie and molded him into a superstar, and is 1 of only 4 coaches to make playoffs 8 straight years. You know who the other 3 are? Belichick, Noll, and Landry. Pretty special company. Packers were lucky to have him.

That is the most excuse laden presser that I have heard in Matt’s time here. Matt is also afraid to put any of the blame on Aaron Rodgers. I counted 9 passes that were missed badly.
I keep thinking about 3rd and 2 and 4th and 2 from the 6. Aaron throws 2 passes into the hands of defenders. Unacceptable! Those 2 plays were the game and 100% on Aaron. You can say one of those should have been a run, but Aaron completely botched both those plays.
he actually did low key call out rodgers when he brought up the amount of passes in option plays.
It was a cover 0 blitz , the ball has to come out quick , great play made on 4th and 2 , 3rd and 2 is on Rodgers.
@Red X The two plays I was speaking of he said he had a run pass option on and Aaron chose to pass on both because the box was stacked. He agreed with Aaron’s poor decisions. Ok fine that he decided on passing there, but then didn’t mention the horrible throws. Say: “Aaron has to make those throws in that situation if he chooses to pass there.” Not hard to hold Aaron accountable.
You also run into a stacked box on 3rd and 2 ALL THE TIME. He was making excuses for Aaron’s poor choices and execution as always! Matt was quick to call out Amari for his issues, but makes excuses for Aaron.
@Michael QB decision making has been suspect for 2 seasons now. He stated earlier this week he wanted to throw to Cobb more.. why? If Cobb is your guy we lose. Yes he can make those occasional grabs for big 1st downs in 3rd but everyone knows that now. Cobb can’t be your go to guy please. Let Watson get another chance mac c’mon. O how I hate watching each game go by without them attempting a deep route with this kid. Freaking waste. I don’t care how many times he drops it

This is not a head coach. He’s an offensive coordinator!
He’s not even that. His play calling is terrible and can’t adjust his plan during the game at all once the opposing defense makes adjustments.
I use to take up for Matt but I’m not no more how many games he won without Arod at the helm great coaches can win with a backup

Once again the play of Aaron Rodgers needs to be addressed. Rodgers has covered up for problems because winning is fun but the reality is he’s 39 and he is declining even if he’s still a better option than half the QBs in the league. LaFleur didn’t win 13 games each of his first 3 seasons, Rodgers did. Without Rodgers to hide behind we’re seeing what he is. There’s no excuse for the defense, NONE! They’ve been spending 1st round picks on defense for far too long. We’ve had different coordinators in and had the same result so what’s the problem? Well I think Barry is another bad coordinator but I also thinks it’s a Philosophical problem with the hiring process. Mark Murphy is not the right guy to be running the show.
RUN THE FU$%ING BALL!!! Not to mention they are two of your best and most dangerous pass catchers as well. Both Dillon and Jones are criminally underused in every facet of the game.

Poor defensive coaching and poor offensive play calling. And speaking if “putting teams away when you have a substantial lead”, when have the Packers ever done that? Like NEVER!!! The D goes soft, they always allow teams to hang around.
I’ll always say this, what is Joe Barry afraid of? Get up to the WRs and let them be aggressive. Disrupt the route, re-route the WRs, etc. do something.
Lafluer is learning as he goes. He’s a very inexperienced HC and it shows when Daboll beats you with Daniel Jones and Belicheck nearly beats you with a no name 5th round rookie
What I do not like, is he seems to have ZERO clue that his deffensive coordinator is not dialing in a very aggressive defense. And his offense has ZERO receivers. We have no WR2, let alnone a Wr1. He seems to think he has the horses to win, but he does not. they replaced Adams, with two rookies. your not going to be an elite team with no receivers. Wake up Matt. Your team has been playing very average all year long, bc with no receivers, and no defensive coordinator, the team is no longer an elite team. Period.
Matt is soft and cautious and that’s why he hired Joe Barry.
