Matt LaFleur 1-on-1: ‘We have to work our way out of this’ – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
Sky's thelimit

This guy does not instill confidence

    Absolute Death

    Sky’s the limit though

    cc

Oh be quiet! Losing seasons happen to every single coach

kelley metcalf

No leadership lol . No accountability ! We need Vince Lombardi not Vince Vaughn

Tyki Mikk804

Near goal line if planning to go for it on fourth down run every play we will score especially how close to the line we where we wouldn’t be having this depressing speech

Michael

I have bled Green and Gold for 50+ years since birth. I root for the G on the helmet, the team, the franchise. Not singular players like some of you. Been through worse and been through much better. This too will pass…better days ahead. Please don’t let the door hit some of you on the way out. I never thought of you as a real member of Packer Nation anyhow.

    Michael

@Lupe Blind Art Studios Aaron isn’t going to “step down” during the season. Most likely he retires after it. That is irrelevant to what I was talking about.
My point is that LaFleur needed to bench him to spark the offense to win the Detroit game. That loss was 100% on Aaron. The defense played well enough for even an average offense with a somewhat capable QB to get the W. J-Love wins that game if he plays.
Save your fake stories about how Packers fans gave Reggie White a “chilly reception.” 100 false and a lie. I was there, you obviously weren’t. Spew your lies elsewhere. Reggie was welcomed with open arms and beloved for his whole time in Green Bay, STILL is. Those are the facts, the facts of anyone credible, which you are not. Type until your fingers are blue, and the facts won’t change.
Sounds to me like you have never stepped foot in Wisconsin. Say whatever you want, but you only will expose yourself further. You are the one that is not welcome in Packer Nation. Absolute wannabe and a fraud Packers fan.

    Isaac Singleton

So 50 years do you hold millionaire head coaches accountable or just players 😂?

    Scooter

@Michael If it was the thumb, then shame on whoever is calling such a pass-happy attack – especially at the goal line.

    Michael

@Scooter I really don’t care about the thumb, but if he broke it, and if it’s contributing to his issues, then he needs to be benched. The bottom line is that he is not playing anywhere near the level to win games in the NFL. Whatever the totality of all his issues are is irrelevant.
Again, he needed to be benched in Detroit and J-Love should have played the 2nd half. As a coach you do anything to spark the offense. Fanboys don’t understand that it doesn’t matter who he is or what his talent once was. He is playing no where near the level of a competent NFL quarterback.
You have to give yourself the best chance to win football games. Aaron Rodgers did not belong on the field Sunday. Detroit was daring Green Bay to throw the ball. Defenses do that when a QB is completely incompetent at the position.

    Michael

And let me just say to Lil Wayne. You became a Packers fan when your dad brought home some Packers gear from New Orleans in the late 90’s. You think you can now call the Packers “we.”?
You proclaiming the season over and saying the team should have traded Aaron is meaningless to everyone.
Sorry folks, I am tired of these wannabe Packers fans acting like they represent actual Packer Nation.
We stick together as one. Aaron should have been benched in the Detroit game Sunday, to spark the offense, but Aaron is still a member of this team and I support the team and franchise as a whole.

Johnny Boy

Bro does not learn especially those horrible play calling and bad decisions on 4th and goal and 4th and 1/2 in the 30-40yards instead of FG and punting 🤦🏻‍♂️. LaFleur is so predictable with his calls and his worse decisions was hiring Joe Barry as DC

Dennis Maxwell

Pass the ball on the 5 , great coaching

phantp78

Rodgers has to play better his throws are off this year. I guess the sitting out of preseason doesn’t help.

    Mark Davis

The messed up thumb probably has more impact than missing voluntary OTAs.

    Scooter

@Mark Davis don’t know for sure though, do we? That’s why with such a young group, he should have been there.

    Jaehong Park

He’s always skipped preseason so it’s not that. It’s the sense of urgency being gone after that extension

    Mark Davis

@Scooter Yeah, we kind of do know. According to nearly every former Packer player who has talked about this, (for rookies) OTAs are where the coaches on board the rookies, set standards and acclimate them to the team, and they start learning the playbook. It is not where they practice timing with QB1.

Abel Gonzalez

He has lost the locker room. Nobody believes in him.

Dirk Diggler

clueless on what to do, you can see it in his eyes

Ced

Different week…same responses from Matt. Hey Matt, do you know what it’s called when you do the same thing over and over but expect different results?

    drew0513

He’ll have to look at the tape first.

    GodsmackAR69

    INSANITY!!

    Vtecboi92

    Same excuses every week

Kidd Clxoud

I don’t know maybe we’ll win if we give the ball to Aaron Jones at this point season over time for baseball

May Ahk Yahsharala

It’s just a bad year for us.We get a top 10 or 15 in draft make some roster changes definitely a new defensive coordinator we’ll be ok next year Go Pack Go 💯

    Khalled24

And y’all will draft another qb instead of getting Rodgers a real weapon

    Jaehong Park

Offense has been hindering us far more than defense.

    Super 19kh

Top 10 or 15? They’re gonna pick no lower than 4th or 5th, the Bart Starr and Forrest Gregg years are upon us

Ryan Jaeger

This is what happens when you allow one guy to ruin a team (Fraudgers). He has left LaFleur a coward who can’t stand up to anyone, not even himself anymore! Sad state. The Packers, by caving in to Rodgers, have put this year and their future 10 years in a really bad spot! Very depressing!

    Johnny Boy

They don’t provide Rodgers with a legit weapon when Adams left or any solid WRs or TEs. LaFleur is also responsible for hiring Barry who has been horrible at running his defense, luckily he has abunch of top talent but can’t seem to utilize them correctly.

User User

Rodgers was our leading rusher

    RedMo46

That NEEDS to be the talking point of the week. Not only to give Rodgers a touch of praise (yes yes 3 picks, i only said a touch 😂) but to show exactly how mind numbingly stoogey it is to have multiple dynamic backs and one mauler and STILL a 38 year old QB scrambling desperately for 1st downs was the teams leading rusher AGAINST THE 30th RANKED RUSHING DEFENSE

D

12 is to blame. This team is built around 12. Rodger’s even said, despite how effective the run worked against BUF, that HE wants to throw it around. 12 is the one who checks out of runs to passes and consistently under throws late to his guys. 13 can’t be blamed for dropping passes at his shoelaces. Toure had 2 tuds that were horribly under thrown. Time for the Love Machine

    Johnny Boy

youre an idiot if you think they built this team around 12. Where has he gotten help with legit WRs besides Adams? And now Adams is gone it is even worse, no legit WRs or TEs, they signed a washed up WR in Watkins and Cobb who are both injury prone.

txoov hawj

Packers gonna lost to the Cowboys again 3•7..

Bobby Bland

LeFluer need to go. He always looks like he finna cry.

Jim W

I never understood why you would bring Rodgers back without Adams. Bad coaching and front office decisions all over the place.

Brendan Lintz

TEAR IT ALL DOWN! ITS TIME TO REBUILD!

Chris Gilbertson

So frustrating hearing the same thing every single week. Detroit came in with the 32nd best defense in the league overall. To only score 9 points and say we are in a funk is an understatement. I know that there were a ton of injuries but that doesn’t excuse how terrible Rodgers and Co played. Just an absolute failure.
