Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor went 2-14 in his first year as head coach in 2019 and two seasons later led the Bengals to the Super Bowl and in 2022 finished with a franchise record 12-4. Give Matt Eberflus time and he will have the Bears competitive very soon.

@Larry Lapper to me it’s our porous defense and Swiss cheese offensive line. Justin had horrible receivers. Their best receiver was hurt 6-7 weeks ago and still leads the team in receptions. Fields did as good as anybody could.. Josh Allen was mediocre until he got Diggs. Look at Burrows receivers…

We should put Velus Jones in a RB/WR role like we did with Tarik Cohen. He’s got so much speed. We need to utilise that. He shown that today

The Bears need a ton. No one player can fix all the holes. This way you get 3 starters at positions where the Bears need help. Then later in the draft pick the best college linemen. You’ll still have good picks in the 2nd round. Also plenty money for Free Agency.

Coach Flus knows there’s more to football than X’s and O’s. A lot of teams would have fallen apart a long time ago. And a lot of receivers would be having temper tantrums if they only got a few targets per game. Any one can stay positive when your team is always winning but to maintain a positive attitude during a losing season takes a lot of mental toughness.
