@SenseiSoBased The point is: if that’s your Grand Scheme (an elite FA savior) — it’s unrealistic (much.more suited to Fantasy Football than the NFL).
@Thomas Gena with time for developing, players learning the new schemes, adding some key players in FA, extending some of our own talent and a new draft class with a first round pick the bears will make waves in 2023. All that cap space isn’t for FA, and Poles being a smart gm so far, he wouldn’t blow it all in one FA trying to force talent on the roster. They know what kinda players they want. & You wasting time trying to discredit that comment shows your lack of joy. Cheer up pal, don’t be so negative.

@Jim George THAT was the problem, Nagy had no idea what to do, he was in WAY over his head. His record shows that. The fact that every player speaking about Nagy say that he did not prepare the team properly.

I think Flus is going to be great coach for us. I really believe they put together an excellent staff and we are going to be a nasty team in 2023

@Censored 1 doesn’t take much to be better than Nagy. Nagy was a fraud. Nagy just wasn’t a true coach the same way that Flus is.
@Kyle Books You dont know what kind of coach flus is going to be he might be worse than Nagy. Flus like Nagy has never been a HC before so its a crap shoot.

We’ll have to wait and see but this coach sounds like he’s moving the team in the right direction.
I don’t know if he’ll be a good HC yet, but i think the most promising sign is the way he’s able to communicate what’s going on. Same thing for Poles (and Cunningham) for that matter. Obviously, you can’t help that lots of fans are meatheads, but I think even the most meathead of us want to feel like we are being taught and made to feel like we are understanding the process and vision, too. And this regime is starting off great in that regard. Ultimately, though, we shall see if they. can win, since that’s really the bottom line, but still makes me feel good about the team.
idk what it is but this coach is either gonna be super terrible, or he’s gonna be one of the best coaches the chicago bears have ever had. His mentality and the way he’s talked about his coaching methods are different to me.
I’m liking Coach Flus so far. Focused, well spoken, knows the game, has a plan. Let’s see what he can do.

The foundation now is set – strong GM who loves the O-line and knows talent when he sees it and a head coach I think papa Bear will love for his discipline and drive. Go Bears 🐻. Live free or Die. Matt and Ryan 2.0 will kick But Ox.
Flus is a very bright minded coach and I honestly think he was a perfect fit for Chicago, regardless of him being a defensive coach but if anything that will work in favor for the offense in molding fields to help him understand defensive fronts, shifts, and coverages.
Nagy was hired based on the accomplishments of the team at Kansas City. He was given way to much credit for calling half of the plays on the Cheifs run at the super bowel Flus is going to be a great head coach, he’s a builder.
