It was such a breath of fresh air!! Adjustments, play calling, coaching in general! After getting catfished by Nagy then catfished by Foles after the Falcons game and all the BS that Nagy put us through! I love this new regime!! 🐻⬇️FAM!!

I’ve never seen a more tortoise and the hare type of game then this one. All the Bears did was play their game, be patient, and not make major mistakes at the wrong time. And it fucking worked. They didn’t try to get cute by running out of 30 formations like Shanahan and they just literally never gave up. I can honestly say coaching won this game. Just my opinion.
Nice to see coaches actually making adjustments.

One thing I love about Coach Flus is he’s real with everybody. He says the truth even if it doesn’t sound good at times, but he doesn’t try to create a scenario where he has all the answers and others have to be better. Something Nagy did at every press conference……

Such a refreshing change to finally have a coach who instills a hard work ethic, accountability and works on the fundamentals instead of excuses and “club Dub” like the past coaching staff. Coach Flus’s instilling his HITTS system is already paying off. Great win today. The Bears may not win a lot of games but they are building a solid foundation to be a young competitive team.

@Thomas Gena – It seems that coach Eberflus is not going to take any slacking or a player taking a play off. He will point it out and they either make corrections to finish a play and play better or be out. Nagy would always sooth a player and do a rah rah next time will be better and was not a diciplinarian like Eberflus. That is what I mean by accountability. When Ditka was hired he was appalled by the attitude of the team he inherited, even broke his hand on a locker getting his point across. Those teams got the message and wanted to be the best and they were..at least the best Bears fans had ever seen.

Fields is a tactician – he adapts to the field in front of him, and excels most with the moment directly in front of him.
Ohio State was always a second-half team. Expect a lot of comeback wins in his future.

Before this game, I said something last week that came true. I said this team is so different & so much more disciplined that during the game when we’re falling apart, Coach & Fields will not let that happen. That’s exactly what happened. Way to go guys. I think all of us fans felt defeated after that pick like come on man, I hoped for adjustments but being the first game I just wasn’t sure but they sure did! We played tough & smart football and I hope this is a new theme for our team and we put a beatdown on the packers and go 2-0!🐻⬇️
Nagy never seemed to budge from his game plan no matter what was going on in the 1st half. This team looked like a totally different team after the adjustments at the half. It’s really a great sign for things to come when the coaching staff can make the correct adjustments on both sides of the ball. I know it’s only the 1st game but the team has me excited! Da Bears!!!
