How do I get up for a game I know we all want them to lose so we can retain that top 2 to 5 pick status? Even if it looks like they are really trying to win, you know they don’t want to, and that they are probably doing little things, not so obvious things, to ensure they lose, but to make it look like they lost fair and square and are actually trying hard to win. How can I get psyched for a game or games where I think that’s what’s going on? Not that as bad as the Packers are, they still couldn’t beat us handily even if we are really trying to win. It’s just a strange Bears season, and we are in uncharted territory, but let’s face it, we’ve sort of checked out because we are eagerly awaiting the draft and free agency and next season. I mean if they theoretically won out from here to the end of the season and ended up with 8 wins, which would definitely take them out of a top 10 pick, and most likely not allow us to draft Jalen Carter, but also have us miss the playoffs this year, then that is going to piss alot of people off, and you’d have to believe Poles, the coaching staff, and ownership are acutely aware of that as well, and so I can’t see any reason they wouldn’t be trying to tank, which just makes the games from here on out kinda…meh. Like, what’s the point? Time to focus on IL basketball and the winter meetings for the Cubs and Sox I guess.

@Bear Down I watched him with my own two eyes and I have the games on DVD to go back and check the tape. He was injury prone, but dammit when he was starting we were winning. Jimmy Mac is the best QB this franchise has seen, yeah, I’d take him over Sid Luckman too. Sid would have gotten killed in the 80s! Jim would have slayed the entire league in the 40s! 🐻👇

@Bear Down its hard to deal with folks who don’t know what they are talking about. What Bears offense ranked higher than 84 an 85 Bears ? You should learn his stats. He was often injured but he was their best QB since Luckman for winning the big games. He was terrific at reading defenses.
