I do agree on one thing. They are playing way smarter football. Nagy-ran teams had so many penalties. Over and over delay of game penalties on offense. It was torture. I like that this team can at least get to the line ready to go. I think we only had three flags overall last game, that really is a positive thing.
Fields has just got to get it going. Missed so many open reads last week.

Expecting a young QB to grow as a thrower with limited throwing is asinine.
Fields is way better than his statics. Everyone wants to hang on to “oh he isn’t doing this or that” watch the games. He throws with such confidence, unlike trubisy, definitely a strong arm QB no maybes about that. Just work on the small things. Things like getting to that checkdown when you feel the o-line has a d-line thats giving them a tough time. Getting the ball out quick or just throwing the ball away on a busted play is better than throwing a pick. Just little stuff. I like how last week the plays we did hit in the passing game he dotted the receivers “ok, cut, balls right there catch completed.” Man I’m excited! With time the bears will take the north back. AR12 keep feeding the fire! Fields is so good as a young QB, with time this thing will be special. He’s a little like cutler was with the media being all over him negatively but that’s Chicago for you. As this team gets better, which they will, he’ll improve as well. This culture being built, the discipline and tough “run through the wall for your brothers” mentality that coach preaches is starting to show.
idk what you’ve been watching but he hasn’t been throwing the ball at all with confidence.. he holds on to the ball too much. yes i agree he is a better qb than mitch with better arm talent and athleticism but he just needs to tighten up his reads and hit the open targets.
Yeah he holds it I know but I just think thats a trust thing. You gotta think he’s trying to limit as much damage as possible this season with little help around him protection and receivers wise. Tom Brady at times holds on to the ball too its just a wall he’ll have to break once we get him a true #1
