We’ve been looking for a solid QB for a long time and Fields really looks like he’s been working his tail off. He looked great. Good calls tailored to Fields and Fields making throws look effortless.

That’s the thing tho right? If we look great in the pre-season then folks say it’s meaningless. But when you look like hot garbage that really is NOT meaningless. The Bears look much improved. The Bears culture looks much improved. We’ve got a rough schedule but I think we’ll look competitive.

Fields was 14/16 for 156 yards and 3 touchdowns. Looks like his progression and reads have sped up. Good job overall by the 1st string O line, when they finally jell it’s gonna be really cool to see. š»ā¬ļø

It seems like Flus has such a better hold on the locker room. Tough, straight-shooter but also easygoing enough to make the players like him. The players were really hustling out there this preseason, such a stark contrast with last year’s culture.
Honestly…he just feels like a real coach. It’s great!
If Fieldās can play like that consistently itāll make the previous regime even more incompetent. š

I was skeptical at first whether a defensive minded head coach would be able to develop Justin Fieldsā¦ā¦ but now Iām convinced we got the right guy! š»šš¾
Nobody knows the vulnerability of a defense like a defensive coach
Exactly Flus as a defensive minded coach can watch film and look at the offensive plays and tell the QB what the defense is thinking when they are in certain sets or running routes. Iām sure his defensive insight is why the receivers were so fucking open.
I havenāt watched much preseason but I like what Iāve seen, a Nagy preseason was Always filled with unanswered questions that STILL would go unanswered throughout the season.
This D seems legit! If Fields looks this sharp during the season, things can turn around much faster than people think… BEAR DOWN!
