Lynch endured his worst game of the season last week when the Rams held him to just 23 yards on just eight carries. He’ll try to rebound this Sunday against the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers who are actually fairly solid against the run, holding the opposition to just 94.6 yards per game and have allowed just three rushing touchdowns all year.
Lynch has just one game with over 100 yards and has been held to fewer than 80 yards in four of the team’s eight games. Obviously Russell Wilson’s desire to run has caused more defenses to clamp down on the ground game, but if Lynch can get roughly 20 carries in this one, he should fare pretty well.
