Looked better then Matt Ryan who tied possibly one of the worst teams in the NFL.
With a “better” team at that, he should be dominating right now right because he has a better o line now? Lol
Matt Ryan threw for 352 yards, with a touchdown and 1 turnover. I’m pretty sure that’s better than Mariotta and his 2 game costing fumbles.
@Tango Fett 50 pass attempts with only 352 yards is nothing to brag about and let’s add those 4 fumbles along with those 2 sacks. One of those sacks he caused the game to be a tie instead of a win taking his team out of fg range against arguably the worst team in the league. This is why I couldn’t stand Matt Ryan or his fans anymore, all yall do is bring up pointless stats to cover for him

Seemingly the new regime found a way to lose the game. Mariota had his moments , but the two fumbles killed drives.
No. 1 fumble killed a drive.
I’m not worried about the Falcons they will win a lot more games this season

Yall can say what you want…Im excited about this Falcons Team even with the loss.
They did everything the talking heads said they wouldnt do and couldnt do.
1. They ran the ball at will.
2. They dominated the trenches both sides of the ball.
3. Not only did they get pressure they got sacks…something noone believed they could do.
4. They had the Saints shook.
Bad stuff
1.The Falcons celebrated a lil too early.
2. Had a lot of costly penelties
3. Had very costly turn-overs
4. Went away from what got them the Lead.
Listen folks you heard it here first and you will continue to hear it from me…This Team is going to win a lot of games this yr. And they most Definatly not the worse roster in the NFL. You can kill all that talk.
Aurther and Pease just need to tweek a few thing here and there make a few minor calibrations and boom these boys taking off off!

I’m actually a Niners guy but I became an avid supporter of the pistol formation during the RG3 and Kaepernick playoff run from years ago.
And even more so when I saw what Lamar Jackson was able to produce from it during his MVP year.

As a titans fan I hope he does amazing in his career I still got a poster of this man and I really wanted him to be the next for us but I think everything worked out right and I hope he starts to show out with Atlanta
His best play was the fumble inside the ten yard line after already getting the first down and shifting all momentum to the saints. Vintage Mariota.
Some other nice plays missing here – like the beautiful completion to OZ… not his fault that it was then punched out by the Saints player.

Mariota has about 350 yards of total offense and with the exception of the lost fumble he had a good game.
They were winning most of the game and should’ve beat a team some are saying is a darkhorse Superbowl contender. And did it while still getting used to a overhaul especially in offense. Impressive! GO SUPER MARIOTA!
